Sarah: Kinda weird that these posters and signs use English lettering sometimes.

Inf_Obs: Yes, there's micro-organisms that've been programmed to rearrange the language center of any brain to universally comprehend any language.

Sarah: Wait, what? So they're just like, going into my body and restructuring it?

Inf_Obs: Yes, they're extremely common. The only known side effects in any species is nausea and headaches. Additionally, there's micro-organisms restructuring your immune system to ensure immunity to common alien diseases.

Sarah: That's,,, pretty invasive. Wouldn't I need to sign off on something like that? What if there's unknown side effects in humans?

Inf_Obs: Boarding this ship automatically binds your soul to a contract. You have already consented to all low-grade micro-organistic alterations.

Sarah: 'All?' What else is there?

Inf_Obs: Well, other types of micro-organisms built to restructure bodies exist, but none of them are present here.

Inf_Obs: Theoretically, yes. We just need to find the crew. This shuttle is used for transportation of both people and items. I'm sure they wouldn't mind bringing you home.

???: It's not my fault you popped up in the middle of an infinity engine...

Sarah: It's not my fault either! I still don't know why that witch put me here! I'm frankly not at all pleased with being here, in this dark tunnel, travelling down a creepy ladder.

???: Dark? I can turn my screen off at any time.

Sarah: No please don't do that!

???: Then maybe be more polite. You haven't even asked my name yet.

Sarah: Oh. Sorry. I didn't realize you had a name, I thought you were just some type of tablet.

???: I'll ignore that statement because you're from a technologically primitive planét. My name is Inf_Obs.

Sarah: That's an odd name.

Inf_Obs: It's short for Infinity Observer.

Sarah: So you just, observe that space?

Inf_Obs: While it has a low probability, infinity engines can have... anomalies. Like you. I'm stationed to observe, maintain, and report those anomalies whenever they surface.

Sarah: So, what is that engine for? Like, what does it do?

Inf_Obs: Well, it works sort of like a wormhole. It bends space and opens another wormhole at our destination. By having an infinite space in a pocket dimension, we're able to warp along it on any straight route. The anomaly of infinite space allows us to bend space until two spaces are nearly directly on top of eachother by comparison. Then it's just a matter of taking a step across that wormhole into the desired location.

Sarah: I have no ídea what any of that means.

Inf_Obs: It means that it teleports the entire space station anywhere we want it to go.

???: Not to change the subject, but this isn't really the place for a conversation. This is a boundless void used for teleportation. I don't even know how that "witch" put you in here.

Sarah: Argh, fine, how do we leave?

After that it was just this black torrent of eyes and symbols. I was still so shocked, I am still so shocked, that I didn't get a good look at them. But I swear that witch had matching tattoos.
