I thought it it would be interesting to show you how i go about creating a large scale repeat pattern and then how i go about applying it to a garment. Finally completed my final sample for design semantics & garment concepts 🙌🏻❤️ My idea was to create a shirt dress that was completely different from anything you’d usually see. Something chaotic but refined. Working on my final piece for my textile accessory class today. Going to be making a collar so I’ll keep you updated ❤️ Today was all about weaving! I’ve decided I love table looms because there’s an order to everything and you can actually see your progress and I absolutely hate hand weaving it’s so time consuming and focus intensive.
