Lawson really fascinates me from psychology standpoint, as that man has made it to f1 but has next to no self-esteem, is like an all-right driver in an f1 car but fucking kills it in any other motorsport he tries and yet stays in f1, swings between trying to fit in with the grid, doing things as if he is following a script, whilst also wanting to do his own thing (and he never will fit in with a crowd that grew up with money, he's had to fight in a way most won't understand, and I think he's only really just starting to understand this), is generally not that liked or thought about by the other drivers, tries to prove that he belongs there whilst simultaneously seeming like he doesn't want to be a part of the culture, has a girlfriend who started dating him as she "saw potential" and then proceeded to style him and insists he looks European (fucking weird btw) even though he doesn't agree, he also asked her why she started dating him if she didn't think he was stylish (as if personality doesn't factor in???), is objectively a decent driver with some bad luck, and despite putting up this aggressive, God May Care front, is super quick to take responsibility for any mistakes even if it's not his fault, he cares more than he allows people to see, was signed to Red Bull as he fit the branding, and then he mellowed, and even after being demoted to VCARB is currently carrying Red Bull on his shoulders despite blaming himself for said demotion. a lot to unpack there
