TWC characters & slang

Sometimes-and by sometimes I mean quite periodically-I ponder about the Clone Wars characters we all know and love and what slang they would use in our contemporary era. In my opinion, I think the word "son" would be thrown around a lot, especially by the clones.

Rex: Cody....

Cody: What?

Rex: I misplaced my pistols

Cody: Son T-T

The Clone Cross-Country team

Indeed, I am perpetuating this concept of clone troopers being on a cross-country team. I've internally made a note on which clones I can imagine running the cross-country distances (or just long distances in general).

For context, track includes more running events such as sprints and mid-distance, while cross-country involves running longer distances on various courses. Some clones I see more as track runners, like Fives and Jesse, while others I do envision running XC.

Due to their genetic advantage, the clones would obviously be extremely talented runners that would seemingly make it unfair to the average athlete. I may be slightly biased (just look at my pfp), but I see Cody as the fastest runner. Another headcanon is that Rex runs cross-country to train for mid-distance track (he's still good at XC, though).

Hypothetically, if the clones were on a high school XC team, I envision varsity being the commanders (Cody, Fox, Wolffe, Rex, Bly, Ponds, Neyo, Bacara). JV would include Echo, Kix, Fireball, Nemec, Warthog, and I haven't decided the rest yet :(. I divided these teams also based on age, so that it makes more sense. Varsity would be juniors/seniors, and JV would be freshmen/sophomores.

I've had this headcanon for a while now, and I hope it makes somewhat sense. Anyway, I'll probably make another post adding to this.

Connecting Clones with sports

I was reading a post on how clones are physically stronger and faster than regular humans. As a track/xc runner, this started turning the rusty gears in my brain. CLONES WOULD BE EXCEPTIONALLY SKILLED AT CROSS-COUNTRY!!

I can imagine the clones as high schoolers dominating the competition and crushing state records, LIKE HELLO?!!! (This makes me exponentially excited.) I feel like the clones would also run in packs, creating an advantage in winning a meet. Also, I have a premonition that the 1st generation clones/clone commandos (Cody, Rex, Fox, Wolffe, etc) would be microscopically faster than the regular clones.
