Hey! I just wanted to introduce myself a little bit 👀

My name is Alisa. My Oasis obsession started in 2012 when I saw Liam perform Wonderwall at the London Olympics. It was quite heartbreaking to watch even though I knew almost nothing about the band at the time. Soon I became a gcester 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I'm mostly a Liam girl, although I really love Noel too. I saw Noel live twice in 2015, and I saw Liam in 2018 in Paris. I've not seen Oasis (yet), but I do hope it'll happen (2027 maybe?? 🤞🏻)

Chapter 4: Diamond in the Dark

A thought occurred to me.

So, there (probably) was a temporary reconciliation between Noel and Liam in 2015. At that time, Noel said he would write songs for Liam. What if he actually offered that to Liam, but Liam said that they might as well bring Oasis back, because it would be silly - singing Noel’s songs while being a solo artist 👀 But Noel rejected the idea, which led to a major scandal, which led to them breaking up again 🫥

Does it make sense?

Noel hates summer.

Noel loves summer, actually, but not now that the sunlight pierces the flimsy curtain and pins him down to his bed. The room stinks — sweat, crisps, stale beer. A thick veil of cigarette smoke hangs in the stagnant air. Noel breathes it in and out, in and out. 

From the other bed comes a loud huff — the hundredth one in the past hour. Liam is like a dog in a shock collar, kicking his arms and legs jerkily, tossing and turning as if it's gonna help him escape the heat.

"Stop it, you knobhead," Noel finally snaps.

"Stop it yourself," Liam retorts. "Cunt!"

"I'm not doing anything!"

"Then do something!"

"Like fuck I'm gonna do something!"

"Lazy bastard."

"You're no better, Doley."

"Fuck off!"

"No, you fuck off!"

They can go on like that forever, back and forth, a thousand useless words. But to Noel's surprise, Liam just huffs again and goes silent.

"What was it like," he says after a while, "when you travelled the world? Has it ever been so freezing that the snot stuck out of your nose like fucking icicles?"

Noel chuckles, the image vivid in his head.

"Yeah, and Santa Claus drove our fucking bus."

"That'd be mega. But seriously," he whines. "I'd kill for an ice cream. For anything with ice, really."

"You're such a baby," Noel chides, but his heart softens.

He remembers all those cold days and nights in the Midwest, alone in his hotel room or surrounded by a crowd of people who didn't really know him. Some tried, but he couldn't be arsed. Because nobody was his little brother, as simple as that. Noel won't ever tell Liam about it, though.

"Come on, Noely, snatch me an ice cream from downstairs," Liam pleads, all big eyes and pouty lips.

"Fuck off, I'm not moving," Noel dismisses him.

But maybe if he pleads a bit more…

Here is a little something I’ve written about the aftermath of the mcfc after party 🤓 g, fluff, 390 words

blue heart

Noel wakes up drenched in sweat. Of fucking course, he couldn't be arsed to tug his clobber off when he stumbled into his room with the first rays of sunrise. So he's still fully dressed underneath the fluffy cocoon of an enormous blanket. Seriously, the size of it is ridiculous. It could easily cover a couple of football pitches. Football. A groan escapes Noel's dry throat. The party was astonishingly good. Probably, even as much fun as the tour had been. For a few hours, he loved life, he loved love, and he loved Man City. But now? He's fucking miserable. Splitting headache, trembling hands, the whole package. That's what being ancient does to you.

Noel squints at his phone. Noon. A hundred messages. Bloody hell. He scrolls until he finds the only chat he can handle right now. Liam. Like an overexcited puppy, he live-streamed the whole event right into Noel's DMs for some reason. 

"Looking cute with that trophy, Noely G." 

"Like a cutieful little mascot, you are. Gonna take a photo with you next time." 

"Pep must be in love with you, like." 

"Awwww don't cry, Noely. Ok, I'm crying too." 

"Pep must be really in love with you, huh?"

There is also a photo of Noel and Pep attached. Or more like a screen grab. He remembers this moment even through his hangover haze. Tears in his eyes. Blinding lights, loud cheers. A spark. Pep's hot lips on Noel's equally hot skin. It could've led to something back then, but not now. Definitely not now. Pep is all right, though.

"Everybody loves me," he types.

The reply comes immediately. 

"Rise and shine, princess. Had a great time?"

"The best. Almost," Noel writes, suddenly smiling to himself like a fool. Somehow, he still can't believe he's got it again — talking to his brother whenever he likes.

"Why?"

"Because," Noel types. He wants to say how, despite all the fun, he still missed Liam by his side. The kid would be like a fish in water, making everybody die with laughter. "The music was shit and that. And they could've given me a bigger trophy, innit?"

"I missed you too. Call me when you feel like a person, yeah?"

"Yeah," Noel writes. 

Then, after a moment of hesitation, he adds a blue heart and a winking emoji.

What truly amazes me when I read other authors’ fics is how they come up with such intricate plots, how they love their supporting characters, and how they are able to write such long stories. I’m always in awe of these skills.

When I write, I don’t care about other characters or the plot🙈 my ideal fic would be about two people sitting in the same room the whole time (I’ve written a lot of those actually 😅). And I can write only about 1k words a day (at best) - and I feel exhausted after.

I guess I’m making some progress though. When I wrote belldom fics a long time ago, they were mostly 200-300-word ficlets. No plot, just atmosphere. Now I do try to push myself out of my comfort zone. But it’s not easy 🙈

So I really admire people who are good at storytelling 🤩
