ok as an asian american person I'll forever have respect for steven lim because everything he's done on watcher has expanded the space in the mainstream for asian americans / poc. he's continuously very good at getting people the recognition they deserve, whether it's by verbally stating their name when he uses their recipe (whereas usually people are content to just add it in the description), or making the presence of his crew explicit in each video. and in this season of dish granted he took time away from himself to feature lesser-known poc creators and I love that his priority is amplifying multiple poc voices. steven lim has been absolutely relentless about his dedication for this since the founding of watcher and I admire and thank him for that always
