Honestly, it feels entirely unreal how quickly this year is passing, and I can't believe it's November myself! Like weren't we just celebrating the start of the year a few months ago? It's mad to think about. I can't say I'm much a Halloween person because I'm a bit of a scaredy cat, other than getting to dress up my daughters in cute costumes. Why didn't you get to have as much fun with the day as you'd have liked, though? I love the holidays as well, and it's just all the more special to share mine and my wife's traditions with our kids. And always excited to have all the family under one roof as well, of course! How many siblings do you have? I'm George, and it's nice to meet you, Grace! One of our family traditions is taking a Christmas walk, and now that my girls can actually walk and join in on that themselves, I'm sure I'll be rather emotional about it. | @cdgracevd

Yes, exactly! Like I was just hanging with friends on New Year's, I swear it. See, Halloween can be for those who aren't into horror and being scared too. I'm a sucker for good Disney Halloween things. Cute kiddo costumes are my favorite part. I didn't spend too much time celebrating. Spent some of the day with friends, but we didn't do much Halloween related. Maybe next year. I have an older brother, two younger half-sisters and a step-sister. It's lovely to meet you, George! That sounds like a lot of fun, getting to see the houses decorated. I haven't done that in a long time. Maybe I'll get my family to do that again. @mackayhq

we're polar opposites. i love halloween but i'm never nearly as excited for halloween as i am for christmas. you do that! it's always a last minute choice no matter how hard i try. i work much better under pressure. what did you end up dressing up as this year? that's the best part of christmas, the family gatherings and all the noise we make when we get together. nice to meet you, love. i'm madelyn. and food, christmas food is superior and i can't wait to stuff my face in everything. going on walks around town with all the lights and that smell in the air is what i'm also excited about. unbeatable.

I love them both, but it feels like I trade off on which one I like more. One year, it'll be Halloween and the next it'll be Christmas. It feel like it all depends on the vibe and what's going on. I dressed up as a character from Closer. Though, I joked about doing Chrissy. I'm glad you enjoy how loud your family can get. It's some of the best things about it. Nice to meet you, Madelyn! There's just something better about food on Christmas. It doesn't matter what it is. Snow at Christmas is also beautiful. @mdelyncline

i was wondering how it was november already as well -- i don't think i'm at all ready for the holidays to come about, and almost wish it was still summer! do you normally plan your costumes that far in advance, that's cool if you do! did you end up having a good halloween anyway? even though you're sad that it's over -- i hope you at least had a good one! even though i don't believe i'm ready for the holidays, i suppose i'm looking forward to spending time with all my family back home. i grew up in a loud household as well so i understand what you mean -- and you miss it when you're gone from it for a while, right? it's a pleasure meeting you, grace, i'm jacob. i'm probably looking forward to the holiday the most so i can spoil my mum and dad, i feel like that's the only time they'll let me spoil them without any complaint. and spoil my sisters too! || @cdgracevd

I love Summer so much, I'm definitely right there with you. I normally try to get an idea ahead of time so that way I have the time to change my mind and plan accordingly. I made the mistake of waiting until last minute once and I refuse to do it ever again. I did have a decent Halloween. I spent some time with friends. I have a small place of my own and when I get to be home with my parents and my siblings, it's always a blast. Especially when the games are brought out and we all start to fight over them. It's lovely to meet you, Jacob. That's one of my favorite things about the holidays. Getting to see the joy you bring people just by thinking of them. @jacobne

Who says we can't have Halloween year round, Gracie? I've been practising that for years since spooky's practically my middle name, and I'm certainly not going to let Halloween being over stop me. The holidays coming up just means it's a more Nightmare Before Christmas vibe, that's all. I say join me and keep wearing your spooky things, though. Especially if you didn't have enough fun with it, just means I'll have to drag you along on one of my haunted adventures. Seeing family is always the highlight for me around the holidays too, along with the food, let's be honest. But it's a whole lot of fun decorating too - so much so that I never took down my Christmas decorations from last year, and I hope you're not over there judging me for it. believe me, i'm still wrapping my mind around the fact that it's november as well, love. i'm not sure i'm ready for it either -- but that's mostly because it keeps getting closer to the new year, and i'm not ready for the new year to be here yet! jamie and his girl dragged me to a haunted prison the weekend before halloween, and i couldn't be happier that the holiday is over. i say that like they won't drag me to another haunted place even if it's not the spooky season. if you're already planning next year's costume -- what do you think you'll be going as? i'm looking forward to the holidays with my mum and dad, but being an only child i feel like i've missed out on a lot for not having a loud household because that always sounds fun. but what i'm mostly looking forward to on the holiday is food, and sweet treats. how've you been though, love? it feels like too long since we've last spoken. || @cdgracevd

While I am looking forward to Christmas and being with my family, I feel like it was just Winter. I am not ready. A haunted prison? Did you cry and hold J's hand? To be honest with you, this year, I was very close to playing our favorite girl, but I decided to do something else. I haven't decided what to do next year yet. I have a few ideas floating around, but once I know for sure, you will be the first to know. I will send you voice recordings from my parent's house so you can hear the madness with all of us here. How is it already November? Genuinely, I don't know if I'm ready for it. I wish we could have Halloween all over again. I didn't have enough fun with it this year.
