// typeProphet_NOTES - Where the White Eagle Roams Free

Some sort of a documentary about the "Prophet of Eden" costume for Mr. Ezio Auditore. Pardon my grammatical mistakes as English isn't my first language. (Under the cut)

The concept of divine prophet is what makes me design this costume. I'd like to imagine Ezio ascending to his divinity after his death while being revered by the Assassins (like a saint of freedom) yet there are some Templars who viewed him in infamy (as if he's the demon hiding behind the shadows) even until the present day. It's a saint or sinner type thing.

It was originally to be called Divine Retribution and Divine Renaissance. The latter based around the other meaning for the word "renaissance" which is also meant something like rebirth or reincarnation. However, I decided to change the name to Prophet of Eden as a reference of his role as the prophet as well as the abbreviation PoE, which stands for Piece of Eden.

Divine Retribution is basically a version 1 design for Prophet of Eden. For redesigning, I was going to do a rework with a different design, but after some thinking, I ended up remaking the costume with some changes and tweaks, which I posted it on June 24th (Ezio's birthday).

"Report of Strange Sightings" is based around the story idea I had in mind where Ezio is an apparition who roams around Italy (the places he used to visit during his old days like Florence, Monteriggioni, Tuscany, Venice, and Rome) and people see his sightings as if they were seeing a ghost. I wanted to make a short story to go along for these fanmade costumes that I've been designing because it's pretty neat.

"Report of Strange Sightings" Come to think of it, this apparition looked familiar... Text version of the story below.

Appearance: Pale-coloured skin, glowing marks around his face and neck, bright golden eyes (when opened), one lip scar, decorated attire (with the hooded cloak) coloured in white, gold, and silver, halo behind his head. This apparition, nicknamed "the Prophet" by those who met him, appears across five regions of Italy, including Florence which is the most common. Signs includes (gathered from any claims below): - Appearing in flocks of piegons. This is indicated by a white dove hidden among them. - Appearing inside of churches/cathedrals/other places that are empty. - Appears on top of a building or a tower. Look out for the swirling birds or a white eagle in the sky, he may be up there somewhere. - He appeared in small chances during daytime but more frequent during nighttime between 7 PM to 5 AM. There are many claims that some people had encountered this type of supernatural sightings in their normal activities: - One person sees him climbing atop a building and into the rooftop, so they followed. But once they reached the exact spot, they couldn't find him anywhere. Much to the person's confusion. - During their trip to Venice, they saw a cloaked figure when taking pictures of piegons flying at St. Mark Square. "I thought it was a beautiful white dove, maybe that's just my camera acting up," said the photographer. - A tourist sees a mysterious person looking at the flying birds spinning above the tower. "I must be drinking too much," they replied. - Another tourist running away in fear after seeing a ghost when visiting the Colosseum. He mentioned that "it wears a white cloak" and it stared back at him. One of its claims came from a person who met him in front of the Il Duomo at midnight (around 1 AM). They found him sitting on a bench and talked briefly. They remember him recalling his old memories before vanishing as he left the area. They also noticed one white feather (size varied) falling on the same bench next to them and picked it up. Few of the witnesses also had this similar nightly encounters as the previous one, although the place and their interactions differs, with one person stating that they were given words of wisdom from him inside the church. They even received the same white feathers as well, thinking it was a lucky charm or a gift from the heavens.

There have been reports of strange sightings taking place in Italy. More on that later.
