the emotion drains from her face as she comes to the realization that elijah too is now under the influence of whatever happened to be plaguing mystic falls. “elijah.” she murmurs, peering up at him in a desperate attempt to spark a feeling or a memory within him. “i’ve been alive for quite a long time..” she trailed off, unsure of how to go about this. “you and i, we’re married, we have three kids together.” with that she’s fishing her phone out of her pocket to show him pictures of their family, their home, the life they built together.
