syrupy brown orbs bore into his own as a cherry glossed smile tugs at the corners of her lips, a girlish giggle spewing from her in reaction to his inquiry. “not all that long ago,” katherine answered in a rather duh tone, a freshly manicured hand placing itself upon his chest. “are you feeling okay?”

he touched her cheek, pulling back when he felt the familiar soft skin beneath his fingers. “ excuse me if i’m a little shaken, it’s not everyday you talk to a woman who is supposedly dead. ”
