When it comes to brain size in relation to body dimensions, Chihuahuas have the largest brains of all dog breeds.
Like human babies, Chihuahua puppies are born with a soft spot on the top of the skull called a molera. It usually closes within a year, but some dogs will retain the molera throughout their life.
Chihuahuas are believed to be descendants of an ancient breed, the techichi. Toltecs in Mexico kept these pups as lap dogs as early as the 9th century CE.
Rice from ilysb was based on my dog Chihuahua. π₯°
βDoughnutβ is the more traditional spelling, although its shortened form, βdonut,β is also acceptable.
A glazed doughnut has about 240 calories, of which 120 are from fat.
The longest line of donuts ever recorded stretched 1,841 feet 10 inches in Berlin on April 27, 2014.
The largest serving of donuts weighed a whopping 1,470 pounds in Kazakhstan on November 2, 2013.
The worldβs most expensive donut is made of 24k edible gold, edible diamonds, and aged chocolate balsamic vinegar. The remaining ingredients are top secret. They sell for $100 a piece.
Osamu was driving around Aichi for 2 hours and Atsumu was calling him for that long too
The two had to watch old videos of the team going to Sunaβs house just to remember where he lived
Osamu thought of calling Kita but he couldnβt because heβd get scolded if the former captain finds out that you got too upset you went home and asked for a breakup
They found the address through an old mail packaging that your mom sent to Osamu
Atsumu had to go to his brotherβs place for it
Mama Miya calls you βDaughter-In-Lawβ
Your mom saw Osamuβs car parking outside their house but she didnβt say a thing to your dad and just let you be when you snuck him in

Taglist: I canβt paste anything again π‘ whatβs wrong with this app!!
βHey, love. I saw this Tiktok...β You sigh heavily as you hear the words come out of Kurooβs mouth. Every time he shows you a video from that app, he follows it up with a, βletβs do it.β
βWhat is it this time?β Your eyebrows are furrowed, expressing your disagreement already. Youβve been peacefully relaxing on the bed and your husband really wants to destroy that peace of yours.
βSo you rate my exes, and I rate yours. Out of 10,β Kuroo says and you squint your eyes at him in suspicion. There has to be something behind the sudden interest in remaking it.
βWhy?β is all you can say at his request.
Kuroo shrugs, a smug look on his face. βWhy not?β
He takes out his laptop and opens a social media platform. Placing his laptop on his lap, he pats the space beside him, a sign that he wants you beside him. You sit beside him and he immediately types out a name.
βThis was my first girlfriend back in middle school.β He describes and clicks on one of the girlβs posts.
βSheβs so pretty. Is that her kid?β You point at the child his ex is holding in picture. Kuroo nods. βSo was she nice? I have to rate her through her personality.β
βShe was nice. But she left me for a college student,β Kuroo explains.
βOh, so sheβs a victim?β You snicker, and Kuroo chuckles at your statement. βA 6/10. She's pretty and she looks nice. But minus points for dating a college student while she was in middle school.β
He proceeds to search for his next ex. βI know her,β you say as soon as you see the picture. βI was the one who planned her wedding a year ago. I believe she gave birth just a month ago.β
βShe did. She was my upperclassman in Nekoma when we dated. I think I was in my last year of middle school and she was graduating high school,β Kuroo elaborates and you laugh. βWhat?β
βYouβre also a victim.β With that, Kuroo starts laughing with you. It takes some time before the two of you stop giggling like kids.
βSince I know her, a 7/10. She was really polite when I was planning her wedding,β you explain while panting, recovering from your fit of laughter.
βThis is the last one,β Kuroo says as he searches and you look at him in shock, not believing him.
βYou only dated thrice?β You ask him and he nods proudly. βBut you did have a lot of flings so still a bad boy,β you tease and Kuroo rolls his eyes. He shows you his screen and you look at the girl in the picture intently.
You glance at him and then his ex, and then him again, then back to the screen. βYouβre lying.β
βAbout what?β
βAre you sure you dated her?β You point at woman at the screen.
βYes. Ask all of my friends. Theyβre witnesses.β
βYou dated a famous idol...β
βWas an idol,β he corrects you. βSheβs quitting the industry because sheβs pregnant.β
βI love her groupβs songs. I give her a 10/10. But I still canβt believe you managed to pull someone like her. Kenma said that you werenβt famous amongst girls in high school...β you state, remembering his best friendβs words when you had dinner together just a few nights ago.
Kuroo simply shrugs, βI guess she really liked me then.β He lays his gadget on your lap, waiting for you to type in. You become nervous. How are you supposed to tell him that youβve only dated seriously once in your life? And itβs someone he sees quite often in your workplace.
βI only dated once,β you tell him calmly, trying to conceal your shaky fingers as you type. Pressing enter, your eyes immediately look away. βYou know him, right? Heβs our cake maker at work.β
βHow was he as a boyfriend?β Kuroo simply asks and you nod nonchalantly. βHe seems like a nice guy whenever I see him at your office.β
βReally sweet. Baked me goods everyday and even brought me lunch boxes,β you reply rather confidently. βWe dated back in high school.β
β9/10.β Kuroo rates with a pout. He knew he was going to get jealous, but he still dug his own grave for his. His plan being:
βTo subtly hint that he wants a baby.β
All of his exes now have children, and he is not competing with them at any means, but maybe youβll get an idea about his baby fever if he shows you that most people at your age have children.
Now that his Plan A has failed, heβll have to proceed to his Plan B.
Kuroo patiently waits for you at his car, ready for your first date after a long time. As he sings along with the song on the radio, he scrolls through his Instagram and sees Sakusaβs post about her daughter.
βMust be nice to have a kid,β Kuroo sighs. Seconds later, he realizes what he said and puts his phone down. βNo. No. No. I canβt feel this way yet. Itβs too early. But weβre already in our mid-20s so a kid wonβt be weird. No... Does she even want kids? My kids?β
A knock on the car window disrupts his soliloquy. He turns his head to the glass and sees you waving outside. He quickly unlocks the door, allowing you to enter. βHi, love. Who were you talking to?β
βI was talking to Kenma,β he reasons before he leans in to capture your lips into a greeting kiss. βHow was work?β
βIt was tiring. The Kitas sent an invitation by the way,β you answer as you pull away from him. βItβs for the tripletsβ first birthday.β
βShould we buy their gifts today?β Kuroo asks you, starting the engine of the car. βI think weβll find something while roaming around. What about you? You said you had to buy something.β
βBikinis,β you say nonchalantly and donβt see Kurooβs eyebrow raise from your response.
βAre you going somewhere?β
βI forgot to tell you. Iβm going to Okinawa with my high school friends next week. You know them, right? Makki, Mattsun, Iwa, and Oikawa,β you respond and Kuroo becomes silent, not knowing how to react. He doesnβt care that youβre going with guys, but how did you forget to tell him something important?
The ride is serene. Kurooβs hand not leaving your thigh the whole time. Your hand is on top of his, your fingers tracing the protruded veins in his arms. Landing on his ring finger, your eyes scanned the body part. You donβt have a wedding band yet. The two of you have never thought of getting a pair.
The two of you arrive at your destination so get out of the car. Kuroo takes your hand immediately, sliding both of your hands into his jacketβs pocket. You smile at the romantic gesture, something youβre yet to get used to.
βShould we buy your stuff first?β Kuroo questions, looking down at you. Nodding, you lead him to a bikini boutique.
As soon as you enter, Kuroo closes his eyes. The store you entered doesnβt only sell bikinis, but lingerie as well. He has to keep his lids shut or his imagination will go everywhere. Noticing how wary he is about the surrounding, you smirk.
You hook a finger on his collar and pull him down. βChoose anything youβd like to see me in.β
After the not so quick shopping trip at the garment store, you have noticed how fidgety Kuroo is. He wouldnβt stop squeezing your hand and giving you cheeks kisses. βYou okay?β
βYeah. Just excited to see you in this,β he reasons, lifting the paper bag with sets of lingerie he has chosen. You hum, your attention going back to the racks of baby clothing in front of you.
While youβre focused on the baby items in front of you, Kuroo is panicking. In his mind, heβs about to explode. You in lingerie + his baby fever= a kink he thought heβll never have. Heβs trying so hard not to think about your mini meβs, but seeing the tiny pieces of garments is making it hard for him.
βMy love, the triplets are boys. But knowing the Kitas, they wouldnβt mind dressing up their sons in that dress youβre holding,β you point and Kuroo snaps back to his senses. He looks down and sees that he is holding onto a yellow dress with ribbons and ruffles. He didnβt even know how he got the dress on his hands.
βOh,β he chuckles awkwardly, putting the dress back on the rack. βI just thought it was cute.β You raise an eyebrow at him in confusion and he forces out a laugh. βIt would look cute on Sakusaβs daughter. The two of us are kind of close.β
βReally? I always see him post about her. She would look very cute in that. Should we buy it?β Your confusion about his actions are thrown away by his reason. He sighs in relief as you look away, the dress now in his cart.
βOur daughter would look cuter,β Kuroo thinks and he smacks his cheek, causing you to look at him in shock. It was a rather loud and heavy smack. βMosquito.β
His Plan B is a fail.
Youβre eating lunch together the next day at your office as usual. Itβs quiet before he flashes his phone screen in front of you, showing you a picture of three familiar small boys. βLook at the triplets.β You continue to eat after taking a look at the picture, trying to be as nonchalant as possible. Kuroo hums happily. βArenβt they cute?β You only nod to his question.
βLook at Sakusaβs daughter. I met her last time and sheβs such a charmer,β Kuroo narrates, letting out a giggle. The interaction replaying in his head. The interaction that caused his sudden baby fever.
It was a busy day at work since the Olympic team had to take their profile and poster pictures. Kuroo was talking to Bokuto when a child suddenly latched onto the spikerβs leg.
βMy favorite teammate, youβre here!β Bokuto beamed and picked the child up. As she rested in his forearm, she looked at Kuroo in curiosity. Normally, children would get scared of him, but she wasnβt, which made Kuroo happy.
βHi. My nameβs Kuroo. Whatβs your name?β Kuroo asked the girl. She smiled at him before answering.
βKia! Do you have a girlfriend?β Kia asked, taking Kuroo aback. Itβs not everyday that a 4 year old would ask you about your relationship status.
βI donβt have a girlfriend, but I do have a wife,β Kuroo replied, which made the little pout.
βSince you only have a wife, I can be your girlfriend,β Kia proclaimed. Kuroo smiled at her statement. The girl suddenly made him think what his daughter would be like if he ever gets to have one.
βIβm sorry but my wife would be upset if I have a girlfriend, so I canβt be your boyfriend,β Kuroo explained to her, hoping sheβll learn something from it. You could subtly teach them about whatβs right and wrong at a young age.
βThen, Iβll date your child, father-in-law,β Kia claimed which Kuroo patted her head for.
βIβll remember your words, future daughter-in-law.β
βWhat are you smiling for?β You ask Kuroo and he looks up to you, his attention now on you.
βItβs now or never. This is the perfect chance.β Kuroo thinks, placing his chin on the palm of his hand. βI was just thinking about how cute our children would be.β You ignore his words and proceed to clean up your lunch box. As result, Kuroo frowns. He mirrors your actions, keeping quiet. Maybe it was wrong to mention it.
Your secretary knocks on your door before announcing that your client is already waiting outside. Kuroo put back the chair back to its proper place before walking over behind the table to give you a quick hug. You can feel his sadness radiating off him and youβre sure itβs from your silence.
His baby fever wasnβt unnoticed. In fact, you knew about it the moment you saw him scrolling through baby videos. He wasnβt very subtle about it, too. From showing his exes, to bringing you to the baby store, to sending you pictures of babies, to mentioning children all the time, you definitely knew about his baby fever.
But you donβt want a baby yet. You had just gotten steady recently, and having a child will wreck that steadiness for sure. You want to keep him to yourself as much as you can, and a child will take your time with each other away. Yet, you donβt know how to tell him that, because heβs determined to have one as soon as possible.
βIβm leaving now. Iβll pick you up later,β Kuroo speaks. He plants a kiss on your forehead before turning away. The way he turned his back at you, the way he frowned a little, it broke your heart. So you grab his hand and pull him back towards you. βYes, my love?β
βShould we start trying for a child?β You look up to him with shaky eyes, and he saddens at your expression. He wraps his arms around you, your head falling onto his abdomen, while his hand pets the back of your head.
βLove, Iβm not asking for a child immediately, so donβt get pressured. Just take my baby fever as a promise that I want to start a family with you and only you,β he reassures you, but you know heβs partly lying about it. Kuroo is a man who doesnβt give up until gets what he wants.
Kurooβs Plan C has failed. He has no choice but to do his Plan D. (Will be posted soon π if you know, you know.)
Fevers turn on the body's immune system. They help the body fight infection. Normal fevers between 100Β° and 104Β° F (37.8Β° - 40Β° C) are good for sick children.
Fevers only need to be treated if they cause discomfort. Most fevers don't cause discomfort until they go above 102Β° or 103Β° F (39Β° or 39.5Β° C).
Most fevers from infection don't go above 103Β° or 104Β° F (39.5Β°- 40Β° C). They rarely go to 105Β° or 106Β° F (40.6Β° or 41.1Β° C). While these are "high" fevers, they also are harmless ones.
Fevers that don't come down to normal can be caused by viruses or bacteria. The response to fever medicines tells us nothing about the cause of the infection.

At the reunion, Atsumu kept on hinting to Suna that the you and Osamu are dating but the brunette didnβt get it.
Kimi knows about your relationship with Osamu. She only found out after dinner so she felt guilty about it and messaged you through Instagram immediately to apologize.
Osamu was so nervous the whole dinner because he thought you were going to break up with him.
Mama Miya knows that Osamu is dating you because he keeps on staring at you during dinner in a different way. She talked to him after dinner about it.
Osamu still doesnβt know where you went after dinner.
Kita helping you test if your lipsticks donβt transfer
(a/n: saw this forgotten piece in my drafts. hope you like it! π)
βIβm home.β Kita announces as he enters the house. Rice welcomes him with his wagging tail. The man plays with him for a moment before searching for you. He then sees you in your vlogging room (your old bedroom before you shared one). The room is filled with piles of boxes that blocked him from seeing you. βBaby?β
βBaby! Youβre home!β Your head pops out of nowhere. Kita rounds the boxes before he comes to you with a hug. βHow was work?β
βItβs the usual,β he answers, planting multiple soft kisses on your face. βHow about you? What did you do today?β
Your arms are around his neck, your eyes gazing at his. You smile at him. βI picked up packages and sent thank you messages. I promise Iβll clean up.β He will surely say something about the mess, so you beat him to it. He just hums, his chin now on your shoulder as he hugs you tighter. βYouβre touchy today.β
βMissed you,β is all he can reason. This results you to giggle. You pull away from him and he lets out a silent whine.
βHelp me test these lipsticks,β you tell him, pulling his hand down so he can sit with you on the floor. He looks at the makeup products on your table with no interest at all. He would gladly listen to you ramble about everything all day, but today is not that day. Kita wants nothing but to hold you.
You ignore his complaining murmurs and put on the first out of ten lipsticks. βHow does it look on me?β
Kita glances at you, then smiles. Itβs as if his neediness washed away from looking at your face. βPretty.β He nozzles his face on your shoulder, not able to stop himself from touching you. Then, you cup his face and pucker your lips for a kiss, which he gladly did.
Your sudden eagerness gets Kita excited, his arms enclosing around your middle, pulling you closer to him. Heβs so close to pinning you down on the floor but you pull away in excitement. He opens his eyes, cofused.
βWhere did my lipstick go?β Facing Kita, you laugh. Your lipstick has transferred to his lips, some of it staining the outline of his mouth. βItβs not transfer-proof.β
Kita doesnβt understand anything that youβre saying. Heβs not even paying attention to your words. Heβs too preoccupied with the thought of what could happen later that he gets so shocked when he felt a wet tissue wipe over his lips.
βNext lipstick!β
The cycle goes on, again, and again, and again, and again, until you are finally at the lipstick. Kitaβs patience has never been this tested. He really wants to ask you to do something else with him but you seem excited about testing these lipsticks so he just keeps quiet.
βIs this the last one?β Kita asks, pouting. His lips have become tinted from the pigments that transferred to him. It also plumped due to some lipgloss you tried halfway. Now you can really tell that it works.
βYes, baby.β You apply the last lipstick. Itβs a bright but bold red color, something youβve never tried wearing around him, so youβre excited to see his reaction. βHowβs this, babe?β
You donβt get a verbal respond, but instead, you are tackled to floor, Kita hovering on top of you. βI love it. Itβs my favorite out of everything youβve tried.β
βReally?β You ask with an alluring tone, arms wrapped around his neck, slowly pulling him down.
βYes. Now letβs see if it doesnβt transfer.β

Morning comes and Kuroo wakes up with a headache. Eyes still closed, he taps on the other side of the bed, his hands looking for your body. βLove?β He groans. βLove, can you bring me some medication? My head hurts.β
Kuroo falls asleep once again and then wakes up an hour later. He sits up, his head ringing. β(Y/N)? Love?β He leaves the bed and doesnβt feel any presence of you in the house. βOh, itβs 9AM. She must be at work already.β
Well, Kurooβs not wrong. You are at your office but you arenβt working. Youβre weeping at your table because you canβt seem to get rid of Kurooβs words to his friends.
βSo (Y/N) and I are trying to work our marriage out for a year, and sheβs taking it way too seriously. While I canβt even look at her face! She messages me all the time about where I am, what Iβm doing and all of that. She begs me to go on dates and nags at me if I miss it. I want to tell her off sometimes, but sheβs a really good fuck. Like sheβs amazing in bed and she lets me have it anytime so yeah. I guess itβs worth to stay.β
It keeps repeating in your head like a broken track. And your tears run down your cheeks and you know it wonβt stop for a while. You stand from your desk and move to the little bedroom that is in your office. You lay on the bed and bury your face on the pillow.
The moment you heard his words come of his lips last night, you wanted to slap him hard, beat him up, tear his hair off his head, but you couldnβt. You were glued on the wooden floor of Kenmaβs house, not able to believe Kuroo could say that. Your heart shattered into pieces that couldnβt be even counted.
But still, you went home with him. Even slept with him.
If your friends, especially Iwaizumi, find out about this, theyβll definitely tell you to leave him. No excuses. And you donβt want to leave Kuroo.
βWhere did I go wrong? Is it because Iβm ugly?β You take your phone out and open the camera app. βVery ugly right now. This is why he doesnβt want me to post anything about our relationship.β
Someone knocks on your office door so you wipe your tears quickly and open the Netflix app so you can pretend that youβve been watching a sad movie this whole time.
β(Y/N)? The flowers are here,β Terushima says as he enters your office. βWhy are you crying?β
Speaking of Terushima, he and Kuroo have become friends after their fight. When Kuroo picks you up sometimes and Terushimaβs also there, you always find the two talking about hair. The blonde even goes to your place sometimes so he can style Kurooβs hair. Itβs their form of bonding so you really donβt have a say about it.
βThis drama is just so sad,β you lie, showing him the screen of your phone that is playing a random sad movie.
βI didnβt know you were the type to cry cause of movies,β the blonde chuckles. βAnyways, fix yourself. Because we will be decorating a big function room starting this afternoon.β
βI almost forgot. The client wanted all real flowers right?β You sigh and sit up from your bed. βNo time for crying. Youβre a busy woman.β
βYeah, so we have to make sure that the flowers will not wither tomorrow,β Terushima confirms.
You brush your issue with Kuroo under the rag and focus on your work instead.
Evening comes quickly and itβs finally time for your team to set up at the function hall. You had to wait until late evening to start since there was an event beforehand. The bestman of the wedding, Yuta, joined your team as the supervisor.
While you are setting up on the stage, you can feel your workmates throwing weird looks at you. βWhat?β You raise an eyebrow at them and one of your colleagues walks up to you.
βThe best man has been staring at you ever since we got her,β she whispers with a teasing smirk. You roll your eyes at her and brush it off.
Itβs always like this. At every event, your colleagues ships you with every best man or groomsman that shows interest towards you. They donβt know youβre actually married and think youβre single so they tease you. In hopes that you finally get to plan your own wedding. Sadly, you already are married and no wedding will take place.
You take a glance at the said man and he is staring at you, but not in a creepy way. As soon as you make eye contact, he smiles at you. You swear your heart skips a beat but at the same time you will never admit that it did.
βMiss (L/N)?β Yuta calls you out of nowhere. Surprised by his sudden presence, you fall on the ladder you are on and land on top of him.
βWhat in the drama is this?!β
βIβm so sorry! Iβm so sorry!β You push yourself off of the man quickly and bow repeatedly.
βItβs alright! Itβs my fault for surprising you.β Yuta stands up as well and when your eyes meet, you burst into laughter. βYouβre much prettier up close.β
βSo youβre the straightforward type, huh?β You let out a chuckle and he smirks at you. βI thought youβd be a shy one since you have been just staring until now.β
βWell, since you think Iβm the straightforward type, let me ask you. Are you single?β Yuta smiles at you shyly this time and you feel your cheeks burn hot.
βYouβre married, (Y/N)! Donβt even think about flirting back.β You mentally scold yourself and look away from the man beside you. βFind out yourself.β
The glamorous wedding finally ends and it was one of the best weddings you have every coordinated. The couple is so in love with each other and they are surrounded by supportive family and friends. The guests were very uplifting and fun in general. You even made friends with some of the guests and have gotten closer to Yuta.
βThank you for planning our wedding. This is such a dream come true!β The bride thanks you with a bow. You bow back and say your thanks as well. βAnd Yutaβs a good boy.β The bride winks at you before she and groom leaves.
β(Y/N)!β Speaking of the devil.
βYuta!β You wave at him. He runs towards you and pants when heβs finally in front with you. βCan I help you with something?β
βDo you have a drive home?β He asks you so you shake your head no. Youβre just being honest. βCan I drive you to your place?β
βMy place is just a 10-minute walk from here, so itβs okay,β you reply. You check the time and itβs already past midnight. βI have to go now. Itβs really late. Bye!β
βIβll walk with you!β Yuta offers. βI wonβt take no for an answer.β
βOkay, then. Whatever makes you sleep at night,β you joke and he just laughs.
The two of you walk home and Yuta shares random stories about his childhood. You like it. You like how he is open to you without you trying. You like how heβs initiating first. You like how gentle he is when he is talking to you. You like how he softly calls your name. You like how heβs not hiding that heβs interested in you. But you hate how you want Kuroo to be like that towards you. You hate how youβre still thinking about him.
Kurooβs words come crashing into your mind again and you badly want to take Yutaβs hand and ask him to bring you home. But your mind is also telling you to come home quickly to Kuroo, even if you know he wonβt be waiting for you.
βIβm here!β You say as you arrive in front of your condominium building. βThank you for walking me.β
βNo problem.β Yuta scratches the back of his neck. A change of demeanor happens, and Yuta becomes shy. βCan I get your number? I want to tak-β
β(Y/N)!β
Your world freezes as you hear Kurooβs voice. Itβs 1AM. Why the hell is he outside your building as well? You turn your head see him glaring at you with his arms crossed.
βWhat do I do? Kuroo might misunderstand! And I canβt tell Yuta that Kuroo is my husband because he wants to keep our relationship a secret. Oh my gosh! What to do?β
Youβre panicking. Your whole system is. You can feel your fingers tremble. Kuroo is walking towards the two of you and is already so close but you still donβt know what to do and say. The particles in your container are bouncing on the walls of your space rapidly because of pressure, and itβs making your mind go blank. Your fight or flight response is not functioning well.
Kuroo has been waiting for you at your buildingβs lobby since 10PM. He was waiting for your message about him picking you up at the hotel, but clearly you forgot about that. He thought you forgot because of fatigue but clearly thatβs not the case.
Especially now that a man he has never seen before walked you back to your place.
βWhoβs this?β Yuta and Kuroo ask in unison. Yuta glares at Kuroo, not liking how provocative the guy looks. Your husband raises an eyebrow at Yuta, his feline-like eyes glaring back at the unfamiliar guy.
βKuroo, this is my friend Yuta,β you start to introduce but they arenβt even listening to you. Theyβre in this staring contest you donβt know about.
Your reactions when you are nervous are driven by the production of hormones and equip us to fight or escape from situations that are dangerous or threatening. This is known as the fight or flight response.
Nervousness can cause stuttering and rambling.
Anxiety may be partly genetic.
People who are anxious are quicker to pick up on changes in facial expressions than those who are but they are less accurate. Thus, it causes misunderstandings.
βYouβre 5 minutes late,β Kuroo speaks as soon as you near the gate of his motherβs house. Irritated by his words, you stop yourself from hitting him. Your lower body parts are hurting from running in heels and your whole body is aching due to being pushed around in the train and crowd.
βSorry...β is all you could say. You are too tired to argue with him. He spares no more time and enters the house so you have no other choice than to follow him. As you take off your heeled shoes you sigh in satisfaction, finally free from the pain itβs giving you.
βTetsuro! (Y/N)!β His cousin, Fumiko, greets the two of you as you enter the house. You spot his older sister Tomi in the living room, so you greet her with a friendly kiss on the cheek.
βWhereβs mom?β Kuroo asks his sister.
βBathroom,β Tomi answers. She and Fumiko pulls you to the hallway leading to bedroom, as she smiles at her younger brother cockily. βWeβre going to borrow your wife tonight, okay?β
βHuh?β You ask confusingly. Tomi doesnβt wait for his answer and pushes you to what you think is her room. βWeβre not having dinner?β
βWe, girls, are going to go out and drink tonight!β Fumiko and Tomi cheers. You canβt help but give out a displeased look.
βWhatβs with the look? Is Tetsuro the type of husband that doesnβt allow you to go out?β Tomi questions and you shake your head immediately. If only she knows whatβs actually going on between the two of you... βTonight you will forget about the pain and stress my brother is giving you. Tonight is about you!β
βAre you up to something?β The two of them ignore you. Tomi shoves a silk red dress to your chest. βI have to wear this?β
After the three of you dress up, you leave Tomiβs room. βOh, you look very beautiful (Y/N)!β Their mother compliments you so you thank her and greet her with a bow. βWhere are the three of you going?β
βGirls night out!β Fumiko does a peace sign and Kuroo snickers.
βArenβt you too old to be going out?β Kuroo teases Fumiko and Tomi, the older girls smacking the back of his head in unison.
βArenβt you going to compliment your wife or something? Look at her all dolled up!β Fumiko huffs as she changes the topic. Kuroo glances at you and fakes a loving stare. He doesnβt think you look attractive at all. Youβre just another girl heβs so used to.
βYou look good, love,β Kuroo compliments half-heartedly, so you just smile at him.
βWhatever love birds,β Tomi rolls her eyes. βEnjoy dinner with mom. Weβre leaving now!β
βBye, mom...β You bid goodbye shyly, kissing your mother-in-law on the cheek. Kuroo also leans in to give you a kiss on your cheek. Instead of feeling happy about it, you become even more discouraged about your relationship. You only act like a couple when your family is around. Itβs so hard for you not to get carried away by his sweet actions.
Kuroo is not sure if itβs stress that is clouding his mind in anger or if heβs actually jealous. He just wanted to fetch you and go home so none of his family members will see you flirting with another guy. He doesnβt anymore drama in his life, but you were stubborn and drunk and totally forgot that you were supposed to meet him outside of the club.
After waiting for you for half an hour, Kuroo entered the club and looked for you. He saw you on the dance floor with your βboyfriendβ dancing as if you were the only ones in the place. Kurooβs blood boiled. First, youβll get caught. Second, you disobeyed him. Third, you looked so attractive under the blinding lights. He hated the thought of being of attracted to you.
The way your dresses perfectly molded your body was making him hot. Your hips swayed along to the rhythm precisely and how he hoped he was the one behind you instead. His eyes wandered and observed your whole body in awe. He didnβt feel like this when he first saw you a while ago. Why did he feel it now?
His feet dragged him to where you and Yuji were, and he yanked you off of him. βWho- Kuroo? Shit! I forgot!β He pulled you out of the club aggressively so Yuji followed you two out. The blonde saw the anger in Kurooβs eyes so he got worried. Alisa who was just sitting near the bar saw the whole thing and also got out because of curiosity.
βKuroo! Let go! It hurts!β You tried to pull your arm away from him, but he wasnβt giving any signs of letting go of you.
βWhat if you got caught, huh?!β Kuroo scolded you as you stopped in front of his car. He parked far away from the club so no one was around. Yuji and Alisa finally caught up with the two of you. βWhat would our parents say if they find out?! You really want them to know how much of a slut you are?β
Slap.
βYouβre a fucking asshole! I canβt believe I love you!β You screamed before running away. Kuroo was glued to the ground, too shocked about your words.
You love him? But why?
Yuji was furious. He knew he shouldnβt meddle in between the two of you but Kuroo was going too far. βYouβre really calling her a slut when youβre the one whoβs hitting on other girls? What a prick.β
βAnd you know sheβs married to me but youβre still dating her? Doesnβt that make you a prick as well?β Kuroo replied, grabbing Yujiβs collar in frustration.
βSheβs married to you but Iβm the one fucking her, so I guess Iβm at better place than you,β Yuji mocked, so Kuroo threw a punch at his face that caused the blondeβs lips to bleed.
βWhat is this cocky idiot talking about? Heβs a virgin!β Alisa thought as she messaged Kenma and Matsukawa in panic.
Not long after, Kenma finally shows up and helps in calming Kuroo down. He and Alisa manages to pull the two tall boys apart. Kenma forces Kuroo to get into his car while Alisa pushes Yuji back into the club.
βWhatβs wrong with you? Youβre not the type to start a fight,β Kenma starts the conversation as Kuroo seems to calm down. The taller guy groans in anger.
βIβm just stressed from everything and let frustration over me. Iβll apologize to Yuji tomorrow,β Kuroo says as he finally relaxed himself.
βYouβre not going to say sorry to (Y/N)? Alisa said you made her cry,β Kenma states in his usual tone. Kuroo leans his head on his seat and sighs.
βShe said she loves me...β Kuroo says in a confused matter. Your words replay in his head and the more he repeats it, the more confused he got. βWhy?β
βWhy what?β
βWhy does she love me? I havenβt treated her well ever since weβve met. I made sure she knew that I hated her. I thought she not like being married to me too, because she moved out last year and then we never saw each other after that. Then when she returned, she offered to help me with Alisa. I donβt get how she can say that she loves me,β Kuroo explains and Kenma just nods.
βHow do you feel about it?β Kenma pushes the topic. Kuroo looks out of the window, thinking deeply.
βIt makes me rethink of our whole marriage and relationship. I feel sorry that I treated her like that while she had feelings for me the whole time.β
Kuroo honestly doesnβt know what to do. Itβs not everyday he finds out that the woman who has hated since who knows when is in love with him. He takes in a deep breath and remembers what matters at the moment: your safety.
βI have to go home and check if sheβs there. Do you want me to drive you home?β Kuroo changes the topic and Kenma shakes his head no.
βI drove here so go and talk to (Y/N),β Kenma tells Kuroo before leaving his car. Kuroo thanks him and drives quickly to your place.
What if you didnβt come home? What if you passed out on the streets? You were drunk after all. Kuroo suddenly regrets his choice of words. He should not have called you a slut. His words are eating him up and the more he thinks about it, the more sorry he feels towards you.
Kuroo enters the passcode to your shared flat and relief washes over him when he sees your heels on the doorway. He takes his shoes off and gets inside. He doesnβt go to his room, but knocks on yours first.
β(Y/N). Please open the door. Letβs talk.β Kuroo says loudly so you can hear it at the other side of the wooden barrier. And of course you hear him. Youβre sitting on the floor, leaning on the door. Youβve stopped crying but youβre spacing out.
You canβt believe you confessed to him. You even dropped the L-word bomb. You donβt care about how he insulted you, you are too preoccupied by the thought of whatβs going to happen now. Itβs better if he didnβt know of your feelings but he already does.
β(Y/N). Letβs talk.β Kuroo continues to knock. Not in your right mind due to crying and alcohol, you got up from the floor and opened your door.
Even before he can speak up, you bowed apologetically. βIβm sorry for not coming out of club when you said so. I apologize for risking our front. Iβll be more careful next time. It wonβt happen again.β You tried to close the door but he placed his hand in between the frame and door so his fingers get injured.
βOuch!β Kuroo hisses. Worry takes over you and as if on instinct, you grab his hand and take a look at it.
βIβm sorry! Let me grab ice!β You step away from him but he tugs your hand back and pins your body on the wall in ease. His damaged hand is still entwined with yours while the other is on the wall at the side of your head. Kabedon. βKuroo...β
βLook, I know youβre trying to avoid the topic but you canβt take back what you said. And donβt reason that youβre drunk because Iβm sure you arenβt. So please listen to what Iβm going to say. I donβt love you back.β
βI know. So please stop. Youβre hurting me,β you lower your head, stopping your tears from falling.
βLet me finish. I donβt love you back right now but Iβm willing to take a chance at our relationship. One year. Letβs try working our relationship out for one year. If I end up falling in love with you, then good for us. But if I donβt, then letβs end all of this,β Kuroo proposes, cupping your cheek. You let your facade go and start to cry.
You hate yourself because youβll allow him to do this. You hate yourself so much be ause youβll let him get away with everything he said. You hate yourself because youβll let him act as if he hasnβt treated you badly for the past years. You hate that you love him so much that youβll let your toxic relationship go on for another more year. You hate that you love him so much youβre willing to get intoxicated and hurt.
βOkay...β you reply, your hand holding his that is own your cheek. βIn that one year, can you pretend that you love me even if you donβt?β Youβre going to get hurt anyways, so why not inflict more pain?
βI wonβt just pretend. Iβll actually try to.β
It was the first day of the Volleyball Leagueβs new seasons and also the day youβll meet your husband, Miya Atsumu of the MSBY Black Jackals, after 2 months of not seeing each other. To say that you were excited was an understatement. Sadly, you couldnβt see him before the game because this was supposed to be a surprise. You had told him that you werenβt able to come because of work.
You entered the arena and directly went to Osamu to greet him and order some onigiri. As he saw you, he chuckled. βWhat?β You raised an eyebrow at him since his reaction was unusual.
βAtsumu was whining to me just a few hours ago about how you couldnβt come to his game, yet here you are,β Osamu explained as he prepared your order. You didnβt even have to tell him what you wanted since he already knew how you wanted your onigiri made. Atsumu had been very specific about it every time he ordered from his twin brother, thus Osamu had memorized it.
βIβm here to surprise him,β you told Osamu and laughed. βWhy?β
βYou two are really meant for each other.β He handed you your order and then shooed you, causing your suspicions to rise.
βDid Atsumu figure out that Iβm here?β You asked yourself. That was the only reason that was coming into your mind on why such words came out of Osamuβs mouth.
The game finally started and as usual, the starters of both teams were introduced. As Atsumuβs name was announced, you smiled widely. He had a smile on his face, waving and greeting his fans. After a talk with their coaches, they went to the court in their positions. As always, Atsumuβs the first one to serve.
The arena fell quiet, since the spectators were aware of Atsumuβs service routine. It had to be dead silent for him to serve the best way. But you were his wife, you were an exception from this, and you wanted him to know that you were there. As you were about to scream his name, he kissed his knuckles or fingers, you werenβt sure. He has never done that. Did Atsumu have a new service routine that included kissing his fingers for a better serve? You were beyond confused.
You looked up to the the big screen that was hanging from the ceiling, showing a closer look at Atsumu. Your eyes landed on his hand that he kissed and you finally saw it.
βHey Miya, isnβt that your wife?β Sakusa asked the blonde who was acting gloomy since you havenβt called or texted him after the game.
βStop making fun of me! You know how sensitive I am when I miss her!β Atsumu whined, not looking at the spiker who was pointing at where you were standing.
βOh, (Y/N)! Hello!β Bokuto waved at your cheerfully.
βI said stop making fun of me!β Atsumu complained and turned to his teammate. As he faced them, he sa you waving at them from the end of the hallway. Atsumu quickly ran to you, capturing you in his arms as he reached you. βYouβre really here!β
βYeah! Surprise!β You giggled, wrapping your arms around him.
βI missed you,β Atsumu told you as he planted a kiss on your forehead, then placed his chin on top of your head. βHow come you didnβt cheer for me during any of my serves?β
βHow come you didnβt tell me that you have my name tattooed on your body?β You asked him back to which he chuckled at.
βSurprise?β He showed you his left hand, showing off his finger that had your name on it. βI couldnβt wear my wedding ring during games or practices so I decided to get your name tattoed instead.β
βAnd why is that?β You still couldnβt really understand his reason. It was either that Osamu got his wifeβs name tattooed as well or he lost a bet to Suna. It should be between the two, or maybe his reason was simple. Like...
βI want everyone to know that Iβm married to you.β
