SUMMARY: Bo-Katan has nothing left. Her tribe abandoned her, Imperials bombed the last place she called home, and she can't bring herself to fight Din for the Darksaber. Accidentally joining a cult wasn't the answer to her problems that she had in mind, but it was better than being alone. What she really didn't expect, was to form a fast bond with the mysterious leader of said cult.

SUMMARY: This was the first time they’d seen each other since Kylo had left and joined The First Order. At first Poe didn’t know it was him. He was brave and making jokes in the face of a presumed stranger that might kill him at any moment. He was still cocky. Still charming as he'd always been. It wasn’t until Kylo went to interrogate him that he somehow realized it was his former friend beneath the mask. Maybe he shouldn’t be so surprised though, Poe always had great instincts.

Hi! I’m a long time reader of Emancipation. I saw you were taking a break from writing to focus on your mental health and I was wondering how you’re doing and if you’re feeling up to writing again. I hope you’re having a good day!!!!

Yeah, my break unfortunately turned into a multi-year hiatus. Mental health wise, things were looking up a while back when I got diagnosed, but there were so many hoops to jump through to get medication (because state funded healthcare is shit) that I kinda just gave up. So...just living with depression still, and that means I am just not motivated to do much of anything, let alone write. Over the last couple years I’ve tried to sit down and write for the stories that I left unfinished, but it just feels like the magic is gone. I don’t know if I’ll ever finish Emancipation or my other stories, but I hope to.

instead of writing anything tonight I think I will open wips, scroll through them, and then leave them open in a tab hopefully like they might start writing themselves

Hey there, just to tell you i'm a big fan of "Emancipation" like i lllllooooove it so much. And just as i love it so much i hope you are doing better with your mental health, i suffered depression for 5 years so i know what is like. I’m glad you like my story :) Unfortunately, there’s been no progress in regards to my mental health, which is why I haven’t been able to write much of anything the past couple years. But I hope to one day finish Emancipation for the loyal readers out there.
