Introduction

Hello, I’m Cedar! I’m an illustrator, D&D player (forever DM), and sometimes poet. I use they/them pronouns and neutral or masculine terms.

I’ll be posting content for a revolving carousel of fandoms, and maybe some OC content if I feel like it. I try to tag spoilers and content warnings where I can, but I might miss things.

FAQs

What software/hardware do you use for your art?

I use Procreate on an iPad Air + an Apple Pencil. My go-to brush is the Brush Pen from the calligraphy section of the classic library

Do you sell commissions?

No, not right now. I may in the future, though. In the meantime, if you have a doodle idea, just ask:] Currently, my inbox only houses cobwebs so I’ll be able to answer pretty fast

Can I use your art for my profile picture/banner/wallpaper?

Sure! If it’s public, like a pfp, please credit me, and don’t repost my art or use my content for commercial purposes or AI training, but other than that, feel free!

What other platforms are you on?

I’m not lmao, Tumblr is the only place I post publicly, other than a handful of Discord servers and Art Fight. So if you see my art anywhere else, it’s not me

Oh my gosh I was not expecting to wake up to this but this is amazing??? You drew them so adorable and this is an interaction I didn't know I needed until now but oh my gosh this is beautiful :D

Oh and poor Aeshna, that 'oh' hit me so unexpectedly that it made me burst out laughing. They're like one of those dogs that forces people to face the fact that they're depressed. But hey at least they can help because who can feel sad when there's a flea around

Hey hey! Forever DM here as well :) and loooove your OC Aeshna. He is the spitting image of what I had in mind for one of my player's characters, Akalla (dragonfly samurai fighter), who is in a HK/SS themed campaign I'm running. Only difference is Akalla uses dual shear blades (similar to scissor blades). Very strange how few dragonfly OC's there are out there! Might I suggest your OC in a sideview battle pose in that thick-outline simplistic hollow knight style? Would love to use it for foundry. My modified 'Perpetos Noo' from the spirit glade (circled in red) just doesn't look as good/clean as the other sprites I've gotten from other creators. I'd be willing to throw some money your way as well if that'd help:) Thanks a ton for reading!
