Dark Souls by Luis Melo
an old piece I’ve recently found. It was for a class at the college I go to. I have NO CLUE how I came across Banana Horror Movie lol
Made a Chimera business man. Wanted to do a different take on the old greek mythical creature, replaced the lion, snake, and goat with a Black Panther, Black Mamba, and Black Goat (even though there’s not much of that besides the legs and eyes).
I describe this character being quite calm, methodical, and would prefer finishing deals in a more “peaceful” route. Of course, if things get a little dicey he wouldn’t hesitate to go towards his more aggressive side, or at least rely on his assistant/tail to settle things.
Made this coconut tribal warrior. This little guy was inspired by a commercial I saw on youtube. Weird story, saw one coconut, something inside me said “I need to make something coconut related!”

Made a cute chibi version of the candle character I made last week. :)
HA! found an older piece in one of my folders randomly. This was a class assignment where we had to draw a stylized version of a person based on a craigslist post. It was a WEIRD assignment, but fun at the same time.
Created a character design of a fire wielding knight that utilizes oiled-filled mace bolas and a torch staff to burn it’s opponents. Wanted to do a enemy-like character concept that you’d find in a dark fantasy video game. Calling this guy the Dancing Lantern
Poses for Katie, a cat spirit turned human forced to live the life of an average modern day civilian. Had some fun making these, what started off as a quick doodle turned into a couple fleshed out poses.
Finished a sickle wielding bandit dude yesterday. Been using this piece to keep track of my process as well as try out a different way to render things.
