My birthday was amazing today. This lunch was the best. I couldn't eat everything, but you bet I took home the rest because I couldn't stand the thought of leaving it behind. Yea...it was that good. I don't consider myself a professional "foodie" that knows every ingredient and I certainly haven't had the experience they have. When I say foodie, I mean that I love food. I love making it, eating it, and looking at other people's dining experiences. Today for my 30th bday my mom took my to @lucilles_bbq and I left fuller than I have been in forever! Rib sticking food. Comfort food. I had the southern fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, country gravy and a veggie medley with a ceaser salad. My mom had this delicious salad with tri tip ends and a spicy dressing. My son had an incredible cheeseburger (not pictured). We ate fried pickles (reccomend!)and we indulged in biscuits with apple cinnamon butter. At the end, they surprised me with a piece of brownie cake and ice cream. She became the storm to overcome her fears and came through it glowing rainbows. I'm officially 30 today! The dirty 30!! I was okay with it, then cried about it, but you know...I'm HAPPY to be 30. @tastynoodlehouse in Irvine, CA. I tried the ginger scallion beef and my mom had Wonton soup. She loved her soup and I really enjoyed my dish too. I should have ordered something with more spice like the black pepper chow mein but I'm excited to try that next time! It is a small place and gets loud when they are busy. The menu is plentiful so it's hard to pick just one item. I like that though, because I can keep going back to try new food. ☺️It smells amazing inside!
