Ingredients: 1 lb white fish fillets. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup beer. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp paprika. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Vegetable oil for frying. 4 large potatoes, cut into fries. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your BBQ grill to medium-high heat. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Slowly whisk in beer until the batter is smooth and lump-free. Dip each fish fillet into the batter, coating evenly on both sides. Place fish fillets on the preheated grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. While the fish is cooking, heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375F 190C. Fry the potato fries until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels. Season the fries with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the BBQ beer-battered fish with the crispy fries.
