The people have spoken! good points many things to consider.

My take is that he is super closested (maybe been with a few men but nothing regular) and I really like the thoughts about him being too much of a control freak and thinking he can change who he is through willpower yey repression

But in my heart of hearts i want to think he is out crusing every week looking for something to fill the void in his heart <3

I think the only reason Is God Is wasn't a huge hit with people that loved sinners is bc it's an all black movie. There is no funny white side character or villain for people to fixate on so it doesn't hold their attention...

The wire has some of the best cinematography. There's not a thing in any scene down to the camera angles that doesn't bear weight for the storytelling.
