Magazines like these are deplorable in the extremities. Yes, it is understandable that celebrities are in the public eye and therefore are subject to criticism. However, this form of “critique” is not only laughable but unproductive. This magazine company does not address accomplishments, controversies, or other important events. Instead, they subject celebrities’ appearances and ultimately “expose” their true physical appearance.

Apparently, looks are so important to these writers that they are desperately in need to criticize others’ looks. Do these people forget that celebrities are human beings, too? doesn’t everyone age? Why do celebrities always have to wear make up everywhere they go? How remarkably ludicrous that people who work for these magazine companies subject these celebrities as staples for objectivity or bullying. Of course, these celebrities may not care about these articles because of its unreliable “reporting” and notorious reputation for being a company filled with lies. However, magazines like these are not only ridiculous but also wasteful. I mean, do people care about Kate Middleton not wearing any makeup? Or that Anne Hathaway is on her phone with short hair? Clearly, these magazine companies are calling for massive attention. Unfortunately, there are many individuals who still buy magazines like this which is why they are still on the market. Or perhaps, maybe it is people like me who keep them relevant by spewing hatred for toxic waste such as headlines like “Stars Without Makeup!” Magazine companies who waste people’s precious time should not be in business. Hopefully, a revolution takes place within a few years that has magazines like these thrown in the dumpster. All of them. So, that way these “journalists” can go out and find themselves a real job so they can do real-life, significant “reporting,” in this world. Stop wasting people’s lives with this crap.

The celebrity journalism industry is a wasteland of toxicity. What is more absurd is that this magazine cover has been dated “February 2017,” indicating that trashy magazine industries such as this are still around today. Certainly, these titles spread knowledge that will do absolutely no good for a person’s daily life. Maybe their self-esteem, but an unexpected reality will start to be ingrained in their head.

The most striking this about this cover is that she has makeup on for both images. So, what is the deal here? Does the first one have “too much” makeup? I swear, you cannot satisfy anyone in this world. Little to no makeup is bad. Too much makeup is bad. Well, maybe the person who makes these covers is bad. Do people have anything better to do? One can tell from this picture that both must have been photoshopped in some way, either to make her look good (as presumed in the smaller photo) or bad (as presumed in the larger photo). Such photoshopping techniques distort the reality of what people should look like: human beings. Yes, it may be hard to believe that celebrities do not look “good” without makeup, or “too much” makeup for that matter. However, everyone looks just like them without it. People should stop using these celebrities as models for what you should and should not look like in public. The upsetting thing is the amount of work it took to create this cover, ultimately accomplishing nothing for society’s well-being. If people employ journalists or writers for more productive work such as traffic or weather reporting, then this world would be less crazy. No, there is nothing “wrong with Britney.” She is fine the way she is. Leave her alone and do something worthy of your time, magazine journalists.

The Daily Mail sure as hell cares a lot about Kendall Jenner’s behind. Why does everyone care so much about her and her sisters figures? According to The Daily Mail and posts like this, beauty the only thing that matters for a women. 

The language in this article sounds like some horny teenage guy or worst someone who wants to be like her. The article acts like there’s no substance to Kendall. Well, I guess if all that’s important to today’s society, is skimpy thongs then we are further below than I thought.

Okay, so Cole Sprouse tweeted a photo from 2001. I mean, he was a little kid at that point in his life. Any of his actions, as a child, were not even a little bit important at this point. According to Buzzfeed, however, this is a pretty big deal. 

But why is a photo from Cole Sprouse’s childhood even significant at all? The strange, overanalyzing aspects from Buzzfeed of this picture and of Cole Sprouse’s childhood is what’s weird. We get it Buzzfeed. The post is supposed to be amusing, but someone is actually getting paid for writing this? There’s no reason. It’s just trying to find meaning in such an old and insignificant photo from someone’s childhood.

This is exactly what’s wrong with OK magazine. Actress Kate Hudson is simply enjoying a day on the beach with her sons. Why does there have to be a man around? If you click on the article, the magazine creates gossip by insinuating that because Kate Hudson dares to be seen taking her sons out alone she MUST be single. What OK doesn’t realize they’re doing is promoting an insidious sexist ideology by playing on the fact that she needs to have a man around her to help her take care of her children. It’s a quiet jab, but it’s still there. The article has no evidence at all that they’ve broken up. It even lists that she brought the main men in her life, her sons, out to the beach. If Kate Hudson is alone, so what? Why is OK insisting she needs a man around her at all times?
