Team USA Give us a Peek of Olympics Before Opening Ceremonies

The US swim team made an awesome cover of hit single "Call Me Maybe", with footage of the team getting ready for the Olympics. Team mates Shannon Vreeland and Andrew Gemmell debate who stole the show.

Olympic fencers Tim Morehouse and Mariel Zagunis get ready to welcome First Lady Michelle Obama. Zagunis has the honor of being the flag bearer for team USA. Soccer star Heather Mitts gives us the inside scoop on that.

Swimmer Jessica Hardy, engaged to Swiss swimmer Dominik Meichtry, share a kiss before the games officially begin, cheered on by fellow team mate Rachel Bootsma.

Fellow swim team mate Tyler McGill is not feeling the love, until team captain and Olympics veteran Jason Lezak chimes in.

Celebrities speak out about the Jacksons' family turmoil

Michael Jackson was a notoriously private person and went to great lengths to protect his children from the prying eyes of the paparazzi (well, except maybe for that time he hung his blanket (Prince Michael II) out the window in Berlin).

Apparently those wishes weren't in his will (or maybe they were deemed to be fake by Randy Jackson) because now the Jackson family fued has spilled out into the public and now we've had rumors of Katherine Jackson (Michael's mother) missing, to fake wills, to an alleged fisticuff between Janet Jackson and her niece Paris, to talk of a potential elaborate kidnapping of the kids. What could possibly be next? Tito being appointed guardian for the kids? Oh wait, yeah that did just happen..

Chris Brown implored the Jackson family to keep their family business private:

and then showed his support for the children which was appreciated by Paris

Meanwhile through all this turmoil and suffering Paris is reaching out to the world and looking for someone to say "I'll be there", and her outcry was answered by none other than Roseanne Barr. Roseanne shows Paris some of her trademark tough love:

Celebrities flocked to Twitter to give their condolences to the victims of the mass shooting  that occurred at a screening of the Dark Knight movie premiere in Aurora, Colorado. 

Michael Moore blames Americans, not guns, while Kirstie Alley holds drugs responsible.

Jim Carrey questions the ability to buy 3000 rounds for semi automatic weapons online, and along with comedian Craig Shoemaker, express concern over the culture of violence.

Piers Morgan echoes Marianne Williamson's sentiment, when Katie Couric asks the question that's on many people's minds.

Some celebs got the news a little late. Director Judd Apatow points out Russell Simmons' ill-timed tweet.

Director Kevin Smith shares his condolences, which got to comedian Jim Norton the most.

Comedians Rob Delaney and Bill Lawrence call out Mitt Romney's flip-flopping record on banning assault weapons.
