💭Thoughts so far💭

💭Holy shit the world building in this story is intense. It was to the point I had to make sure it was the first book in the series.

💭So far my concern for modern tech in the plot has dwindled. I appreciate that it isnt as modern as I expected it to be so far, at least.

💭I always knew Bryce Quinlan was a baddie, so no surprise there!

💭I am pretty suspicious of Jesiba as of right now, and Sabine sucks lol.

I an just about a quarter of the way though part II so I think Ill make regular updates as I read!

gonna use this post to say…. i wish his wings wasn’t cured at all. actually, i wish he grieved it for all after the war, and then his healing arc would be along nesta’s in acosf although he already has a support system so he would not take nesta’s spotlight. they’d heal together like feysand

Azriel, graceful as any courtier, offered her an arm. I couldn’t tell if she was looking at his blue Siphon or at his scarred skin beneath as she breathed, “Beautiful.” Color bloomed high on Azriel’s golden-brown cheeks, but he inclined his head in thanks and led my sister toward the back doors into the garden, sunlight bathing them.
