He’d been resting against the arm of the couch, head tilted back and his eyes shut, when a warm weight settled into his lap. Suga let his eyes crack open, and immediately a smile tugged on his lips. 

❝ Comfy there, Asahi? ❞

He doesn’t mind though, despite his words; Shifting a little to get comfortable, his hand finds it’s way into Asahi’s hair and he shuts his eyes again, contented. This… was nice.

❝ I’m sure! I mean - If you walked me home, you’d have to walk home again, yourself, and that’s not fair. ❞ With a shrug, he shifted just to step outside, and thank the other for having him. That was, until he turned to face a practical blizzard - when had it got so heavy? - and Koushi let out a vague groan into the material of his scarf.

❝ Maybe I should get a cab, ❞ he mused aloud, turning to face him with a small, shy smile.   ❝ You could always come with if you wanted to, and at least we’ll be warm, then. It’s only a ten minute drive. ❞

Kenma peeked outside, just to pull a face upon seeing it snowing heavily. There was no way he could walk through all that snow, but he doubted that Koushi could, either. He’d at least wouldn’t let him walk home while the weather was like this. It would be quite irresponsible.

“A cab?,” Kenma repeated with a light frown. “Do you really think that they’re going to drive today? It’s icy, I guess…” This truly didn’t sound like a good idea.

Letting out a soft sigh, he started to fiddle with his sleeves, his brows still furrowed as he thought. “You can stay here, if you… want,” he eventually suggested. “At least until it has calmed down and the cabs are driving again.”

❝ Mm, maybe not. ❞ He agreed, peering back out towards the snow. The offer was appreciated, but at the same time, he didn’t want to impose... Still, he had no real way of getting home. With a sigh, he began to fiddle with his sleeves in thought.  ❝ Are you sure you wouldn’t mind that? I mean, it’s kind of... Well, I’m imposing, aren’t I? ❞

The heaters were inviting, though, and he rubbed at the nape of his neck at the offer.  ❝ If you’re okay with me staying until the snow dies down, I’d appreciate it, but... ❞

❝ I think you’re going to be staying at mine tonight, ❞ he mumbled, mostly to himself. ❝ I can’t let you go home alone like this - who knows what’ll happen. Are you okay with that? ❞ 

“ A sleeeeeepover? ” Grey-brown eyes dilated from intoxication widened even more. His parents would be so pleased he’d be staying somewhere other than Tsukki’s for a night; not to mention with a senpai.

“ ’cuse me. ” A tequila-flavored belch bubbled up from his tummy, but he was too slow to cover his mouth in time. This would have been far more embarrassing if his inhibitions didn’t fly out the window hours ago. “ But I didn’t bring my toothbrush for a sleepover. ”

❝ That’s fine, ❞ Sugawara tried to assure, deciding he’d rather have the other go a night without brushing his teeth than potentially getting in harm’s way. ❝ You can go one night without brushing your teeth. I wouldn’t feel good if you went home, tonight. ❞

With no further argument - or at least, not one Sugawara acknowledged - he began leading the other back towards his own place. Thankfully, his family were elsewhere (when were they not?) and the house was empty.  ❝ You feeling okay? ❞
