Couple Details on Graduation Today:

My parents came in from Central yesterday morning. Bruce picked them up at the airport and took them to the Manor (Bruce insisted. I protested. I was ignored.) so I could do my last final.

Got ready at the Manor this morning. Jay picked me up 😘 (love you babe)

Graduation was long but good. Parking was a nightmare but what’s new? Jason’s whole family insisted they were my family too and all came to the ceremony. Even taking work off (Dick you’re a sweetheart)

We went out to dinner—my choice and no one was allowed to argue with me 😆

I DID IT!

Tonight I got to pick the movie with no arguments ‘cuz honestly we’re all too tired to party or do anything else. It was a long day.

Now my parents are gonna stay for a week at the Manor and I’m staying over too just to be with my parents and the Waynes as much as possible.

Im gonna try and blog more by the way about what I’m up to now that the semester from h🔥🔥🔥 is over 😆

For those of you who remember “Nightwing and the Thunder,” I had a similar but slightly different experience today.

I was in the car with Jason and Dick on our way to dinner because I needed a “change of scenery” thanks Jay when Jesse’s Girl came on the radio.

BUT of course I’m in the car with Dick, the biggest goofball in the world, so is that what he sang?

No. Of course not.

No, no.

No he sang “Jason’s Girl” instead.

I thought it was funny because it fits the rhythm and doesn’t affect the rhyme scheme but Jay beaned him upside the head the second we got out of the car because Dick isn’t allowed to steal me XD

... Wow

So... this semester was H E C T I C and I got overwhelmed and busy and frankly forgot I was trying to blog my whole last year. Nothing much interesting happened though. I did homework, did my internship, got overwhelmed, had a breakdown, cried into Jason’s shoulder for an hour (we’re still going strong, by the way!) the other day

BUT! I graduate next Friday

Yup

That’ll be it.

My apartment lease is up at the end of May too so... now I have to make a choice. Stay in Gotham or go home to Central

Highkey Jason wants me to stay and so does his entire family but honestly it depends. I don’t want to do the long-distance relationship thing ‘cause that’s hard but I also haven’t been around my family much for a year. I didn’t even go home for spring break ‘cause I had internship stuff

Maybe I’ll visit Central for a while and then see how I feel before making a decision. Maybe my adorable, nutty little niece will drive me up the wall and I’ll run right back to the airport to go to Gotham XD

We’ll see.

Wish me luck with graduation so I don’t fall on stage!

First couple weeks of the new semester are over and my proper internship that actually counts for my degree has now been squared away. I’m astounded that graduation is on its way. First week of May---that’s how close it is. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m sad to leave my Wayne Enterprises internship because it has been really good to me and a lot of fun, but I won’t have time for it this semester.

I had several of the BatFam over tonight to celebrate. Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin, Spoiler, Batgirl, and Orphan all stopped by for coffee for them and some cheesecake that I made. It was a really messy first attempt but it still tasted good. Thanks guys. This has been a great couple months. I only have a few left before I go back to Central. Although... maybe I won’t. We’ll see. I don’t really wanna leave and Jason and I have talked about long-distance relationships and I really do like living alone on my own.

I literally just social-anxietied my way into taking the stairs up three flights because the elevator had too many people in it. First day back at school for my last semester and already things are a bit of a disaster (scheduling issues---it’s being handled) BUT at least I got some exercise out of it.

Back in Gotham!

Last semester starts this week! Hopefully I graduate in May and then it’s on to the great big world!

Jason’s happy to be back, but I think he’s going to miss Central just a little bit. He seemed rather charmed by my family and friends. XD But he’s glad to be back because Gotham is home to him and we can play on his Final Fantasy XV save so he doesn’t have to watch me butcher the game XD

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you’re not PUBLISHING your DnD campaign, feel FREE to steal whatever you want from stuff you enjoy if you’re having trouble coming up with stuff on your own. No one’s gonna be mad at you for not being completely original. In fact, if your friends are as nerdy as you are, your friends will probably really enjoy those things appearing.

Wanna save Hyrule? Save Hyrule.

Need the TARDIS? Use the TARDIS.

Want Treebeard to guide your party through Fangorn Forest? Let him.

Have your party walk in on Castiel, Merlin, Captain America, and Sherlock having tea for all I care!

Need gillyweed for an underwater adventure? USE GILLYWEED!

Werewolf characters who need the Wolfsbane Potion? Use it.

You can also take all those things and modify them to suit your campaign! Want gillyweed to be a little more mermaidic in its transformation? Cool beans, my dude. Do it. Want the TARDIS to have eight (or so) predetermined destinations that you, the DM, rolls a D8 (or so) to see where the story goes? That’s legit. Do that!

You get the idea. No one will sue you for copyright infringement if you’re not publishing your campaign and your friends will probably have a blast!

All this is to say I finally finished writing my DnD campaign for Jason and his family and now we get to play through it!

Also I’ve started writing two campaigns we can play after we finish this one, and I’m basically using half the plot of Final Fantasy XV for one of them, LOL XD

I got a physical copy of the Dungeon Master’s Guide for Christmas (I’ve been using a PDF) so I am SO psyched!

I played DnD with my friends from Central today! Jason came along and watched. We were in the middle of the final dungeon. We managed to completely bypass one of my illustrious DM’s puzzles by threatening to rip the doorknob (a sentient gargoyle-shaped doorknob) from its place since my best friend’s character collects doorknobs.

Creative problem-solving if you ask me! XD

Yes we just got home. We played a lot later than we thought we would...

Oh! Also! BTW! Gotham is so cloudy and overcast that last night was the first night I saw Orion this year. And if memory serves me correctly,

ORION RISES IN OCTOBER I SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT 1.5 MONTHS AGO!
