if you're having trouble sleeping the best you can do is put a bright object close to your face and look at it for at least 30 minutes. if that doesn't work you can close your eyes but make sure to think really hard about a bunch of bullshit
Im glad they made up romance for stories and music but can you imagine how scary it would be to deal with all that for real

Do you have any thermal images of deer? I think they’re really funny but its hard to find good ones. Plus most of them are from deer hunters and stuff so yk :(
Thermals are interesting because they show which parts an animal is prioritizing -- like in these photos, you can see that mountain reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus) have the most heat (i.e. blood vessels) in their noses (and growing antlers). This is an important adaptation when you use your face to plow through snow for half the year or more.
Meanwhile, this muntjac (genus Muntiacus, possibly Fea's muntjac) is chewing its cud and digesting, causing its face and stomach to be the warmest.
And in these spooked mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus), their ears and chests emanate the most heat, which means that their hearts/lungs are taking up a lot of blood in preparation to flee -- plus they're listening for danger.
This can't be fucking real oh my god.
Two deer. Not just one. Two of them made this mistake
