second run to the fourth zone, died to a survivor who had a bounce pad trap inside their ship which happened to be in a radioactive area + my character had brain damage and therefore fell forward onto it, causing me to drop the stuff that I was going to trade for some anti radiation meds they were selling, then I couldn't find the stuff I dropped in their drop pod and quickly died of radiation poisoning

head bleeding I assume? it developed to a head infection, antibiotics didn't work, etc. etc., run died 2 minutes into zone 3 for the second time

hm. from what i can tell in the moodles in those screenshots, blood pressure definitely doesn't seem to be the issue. and according to the wiki, seems like you can't actually get strokes from direct head injury. which i'm tempted to believe because damn head injuries happen a lot in this game.

did you eat a mushroom at some point during those two minutes you were in layer three? and if so, do you remember your expie saying anything about it?

nope, I avoided them specifically because the game seems to indicate that you should not eat them (I ate one of the RNG cans and instantly died of an overdose in an earlier run so I learned a lesson about eating stuff where the game is like oooh what a mystery what effect could this have ;) )

I'm assuming it's high bp that causes a stroke? the only thing I can think of is that my expie was a bit chubby I guess

yeah, there's a small chance of a stroke starting every few seconds when you're above a certain blood pressure. given that no blood pressure moodle seems to be showing up in that screenshot, i'm guessing you must've just had a spike from overexertion or something and got unlucky enough for the stroke to trigger before your bp went back down? that's my best guess at least.

I guess if a stroke can be delayed before it occurs it might have been triggered during the fight against the sand frog thing while almost max tired? idk. I considered saving the footage but didn't end up bothering I'm afraid so it may just remain a mystery
