The thing that fascinates me about janky RPG Maker horror games is that there's a specific level of jank that invites audience participation. Many well-regarded examples of the type do not actually achieve their intended experiences of play, but they get close enough that that experience can be constructed with active player buy-in. As a player you can of course break any game by going out of your way to refuse to cooperate, but when you're put in the position of needing to go out of your way not to break the game, you become a sort of co-author in a way that games which are actually functional typically don't permit.

Hello! here are three images I made for the three art contest winners! Thank you so much for participating everyone, there were a lot of great entries and it was very difficult to narrow them down! We reached out to the three winners and asked them who they would like a picture of, and then I drew these on my live stream. The image above is for the first place winner,  u/eggo_boi  !

I depicted the arm wrestling event with her for the reward image!

In second place, u/RecognitionStreet450 , who made the amazing music video set to Queen's Under Pressure -  https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1shcypw/under_pressure/  - requested a tender scene between Sam and the Shadow, with the shadow putting a rose behind sam's ear! That's called self-care, people.

And finally,  u/eggo_boi who made the amazing, colorful shot of the sky and the cursed astronomers, Overview Effect -  https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1scthor/overview_effect/ , requested an image featuring Stargazer.

I went a little overboard for that one! The colorful painting they made gave me an idea, what if we got to catch a glimpse of what Stargazer sees when he looks above ? And as a little extra, I added in the characters featured in the art from the two runner-up entries, the Spine 3D model by u/freelanceottoman-  ( https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1sky9py/_/ ) and The Kiss by u/ayanyaya with Jasper and Sybil, (  https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1sgwrpc/the_kiss_by_gustav_klimt_but_as_jasper_x_sybil/ ) giving them all a time to relax and stargaze along with Sam and Edwin.
