id say you get used to it, but you never really do. it’s why i really hated living in la. it’s such a catch-22 to be open about a relationship that gathers a lot of public attention. it’s nice to be able to share what makes you happy, but it never stops being weird that everybody has a very loud opinion about it. i didn’t know you had a podcast or a dog! i’m especially interested in the dog though, what’s their name?

it is! it’s probably the coolest one i’ve watched. they make the craziest desserts i’ve ever seen, stuff that doesn’t even seem possible sometimes. it’s on netflix, there’s only two seasons but it’s worth the watch. of course i’m serious, i would never joke about chocolate.

i'm normally the first person to pull out the halloween decorations, but i've just moved and let me tell you, my new neighbors have totally put me to shame. as an avid fall enthusiast, i'm actually a little embarrassed to show my face. they probably think i'm a halloween grinch now. in my defence, october really snuck up out of nowhere this year, right? although, i did say that last year too. but whatever, it's never too late to embrace the spooky season. how about you? have you dusted off the halloween decorations yet? please make me feel better about myself and say no. anyway, hi. i'm danielle and i will be accepting volunteers to come along to knott's scary farm with me. @hillsfmsstarters

I think there's a moment when people are a bit like 'This is Lady Gaga why is she singing Jazz' and then after a few songs it's like 'Oh, because she can'. You should go somewhere romantic, and reclusive so you can truly enjoy each other without anyone else intruding. Those are my favorite kinds of holidays.

i mean, with a voice like yours, you can sing anything you want. what do you love about singing jazz? that’s what i was thinking too, somewhere intimate. i think we’ve settled on greece now, somewhere close to the water. i’m excited for the weather and the views but i think the food and the company the most.

I'm back in Las Vegas tonight, living my dream until October 5th and I could not be more excited. After that, who knows? Looking forward to cosy days and lonely nights, pumpkin carving and slasher films and I am so excited for all the things to come. that sounds like so much fun! what’s your favorite part about your vegas show? i think you just named almost all of my favorite things about fall. hunter and i decided to go on a trip, so i’m really looking forward to that. we haven’t decided where to go yet, maybe somewhere warm one more time before i officially bring out all my sweaters for the colder weather.

I decided to take up chocolate making. It's proven to be a trial of errors, but I think I finally have my recipe down. All I need to do now is create specialty chocolate bars. I'm thinking cereal themed. I also managed to make a cookie monster one with pieces of chocolate chip cookies. It's so good. Might even start my own chocolate factory a la Wonka. Think I could pull off the 'fit and the bob? I actually think I could. In the meantime, I have chocolate bars in stock. All free, I promise. @hillsfmstarters

that sounds like so much fun. i got really into watching zumbo’s just deserts and momentarily thought i might quit acting to make fancy desserts. if you need any testers for your chocolate bars, you know where to find me. i think you could rock the coconut head bob and whimsical top head.

A friend recently introduced me to the idea of junk journaling. As someone who likes to save all the little souvenirs from trips, you can imagine how much I'm thriving with this new hobby. Bonus 'cool' points because there's no rules. Anything goes; literally. What about you? Has anyone picked up any new hobbies lately? @hillsfmsstarters

junk journaling?? as a fellow trinket lover, i am intrigued. how does it work? i don’t know that i’ve tried anything new lately, but it has been nice being able to spend more time on old hobbies i fell out of when i got too busy with work. i’m liking this free time too much, i might just keep at it for a while.

Have you ever had one of those days in which you simply don't want to get out of bed? A darkly lit room, hundreds of blankets piled on top of you, and the AC full blast. Why on earth would I leave the comfort of this bed when I'm pretty certain this is what heaven feels like? Seriously, I need to find something compelling enough to drag me out of this room. So far no such luck from any one. I might just stay here until I have a work commitment. / @hillsfmsstarters

you know what, those are my favorite kind of days. although, it’s getting almost cold enough to ditch the AC since it’s time to get the fireplace going. now that i’m thinking about it, i can think of a million reasons to not leave the bed tomorrow. i’ll let hunter know you inspired this when she can’t drag me out of bed.

——- Moving has been a lot and now i'm finally sure i'm settled in and doing some re-organizing as time goes on to feel more at home with my fur son . i think i really need to hear how moving or travels go for you in terms of unpacking so i feel better at how long it took me to get fully unpacked . // @hillsfmsstarters

moving is one of the worst big life chores. i’m not sure if i hate packing or unpacking more. how does the little guy like the new place? i’m the worst about unpacking, when hunter and i moved i’m pretty sure i still had a couple boxes unpacked in my garage from when i first moved in. i just avoid it until i forget and eventually it’s out of sight, out of mind.

The second it hits the first of September that's Fall to me, even without solstice. Okay but if you're planning it, are you aiming for series or just one off horror movies? All time is putting me on the spot but I think if we're going true horror I'd say Dead Silence, that shit messed me up for days.

i agree. ideally i’d like it to be late august, but it’s still a little too hot then to get into the fall mood. either or, i’m not too picky. i try not to throw too many series i’ve already seen in the mix since it feels like cheating if there’s more than 5 movies. i haven’t seen that one, but i’ll add it to the list. i love a good scary puppet movie.

To say this week has been incredible is an understatement. My birthday on set with some incredible people and now walking in this gorgeous show? What a lucky lady I am. How is everyone else's week going? Hopefully just as good as mine is. @hillsfmsstarters

it’s your birthday this week?! happy birthday! it sounds like it was a good one! how was the show? my week was pretty good! i’m really enjoying the very slightly cooler weather, fall is my favorite season. dodger likes it too since it means he can play outside for longer without getting too hot.

my favorite question ! the scream series will forever be my number one, but i also like jeepers creepers, the hills have eyes, and house of 1000 corpses. highly suggest checking them all out if you haven't already. what's your favorite scary movie ?

the scream series seems to be a popular favorite scary movie, and rightfully so. horror comedies are one of my favorite types of movie. jeepers creepers is great, and i love house of 1000 corpses. i actually haven't seen the hills have eyes, so i'll add that to the list. one of my all time favorites is let the right one in, the swedish one. i do love scream and halloween too, though.

Yeah, I'd say that's a fair assumption. The stores are putting the decorations out on the shelves so really, there's no arguing with that. Well then, I hope your plans work out and you're able to watch everything you can think of. Are you going to a Halloween party this year or do you think you'll skip it? Personally, I love Silence Of The Lambs but it's not really terrifying. It's more interesting than anything else. What's your favourite?

if the spirit store is open, spooky season is fair game, right? thank you, i hope so too! i’m not sure, i’m not usually a party guy but halloween parties are a different ballgame. if something fun pops up, i’ll probably give it a go! i love silence of the lambs, anthony hopkins is a legend. did you watch the hannibal tv series? i like the scream movies but i have a soft spot for trick r treat.

Yeah, we've definitely entered spooky season and there's not a single soul that can convince me otherwise. Planning ahead is always my go to when it comes to this time of the year so I'd highly recommend. Are there any movies on your watch list that you definitely want to see? I'm super basic here but I adore the original Scream movie. There's something about it that triumphs over every other horror I've ever seen. The whole franchise is pretty great though so that's always a bonus.

i think mid august is a fair time to begin spooky season. i’m not usually great at planning, so i’m proud of myself for actually being ahead this year. i’m really excited to watch infinity pool, im not sure how i haven’t seen it already. i love the scream movies, they changed the horror game. plus, how can you not love matthew and skeet as the villains?

you’re right and i’m glad you’re brave enough to say it. i have! some new, some rewatches but i’d like it to be more new. my favorite so far was sissy, i’d never seen anything like it. it was a wild ride start to finish. that’s a really fair dilemma to have, they’re both classic. i’m a scream guy for sure, the new one is on my list. have you seen all the scream movies?
