We do have culture? Karneval and Pottromantik. What is it with all the other Bundesländer and thinking them superior to ours? So we do not eat weißwurst and drink weak beer. We do not run around in trachten and stuff. But we do have stuff we are proud of. And it’s not just Currywurst (go away, Berlin) and Köpi and Alt. Our football teams at least do not have to buy up the Players of the other teams so they can beat them (looking at you Bayern München). Our Culture is different from yours. Our way of behaviour is different. We are proud of our history of coal mining. Of being a melting pott of different cultures.

I’m not even from Nordrhein-Westfalen, I’m from Rheinland-Pfalz, but if I ever would want to live somewhere else (and I rlly don’t ) I would like to live in NRW. It might be ugly sometimes but the people living there are the nicest, kindest, friendliest, grumpy-in-a-good-way people I’ve ever met and possibly ever will. And football culture is a big thing and it’s awesome. Culture is everywhere, ppl just have to look.

I prefer NRW over Bavaria ANY day.
