Madison Chapeau was staring at the sky. He was prone to doing so, it was common, at the very least, and he always figured that it’d get him into trouble, but not today, for whatever reason, when it finally did. He apologized of course, “My most sincere sorry,” with a tip of his olive green hat, and he reached a hand out to the victim of his carelessness, apologetic that he’d bumped into them, or rather provided an obstacle. “May I ask where you were on your way to?”

“You play way too much!” Astrid said, trying to be upset but, laughing instead.

Madison chuckled with glee, poking her shoulder at that, shielding himself from retaliation. “That frown was far too serious, my dear,” he muttered beneath his mirth. “I thought you might find a smile more fitting.”
