    well.. that was… abrupt. he still had to be there for a few more minutes at least to make sure that francis was alright. but he bowed back graciously. “very well. pleasure. have a good night. and tell mary hello for me.” bash found the rest of the night to be rather full without company but the next day seemed to bode well for the both of them we he finds her sitting in the garden with a book.

    “i’ve read that. it’s a fascinating book. have you read much of it to know what’s happening or did you just start?”

         “ I’ve read enough of it to know a good portion about it, but do not ruin it. It would be extremely rude.” Elain smiled gently as she looked up at him form her place on the soft and springy grass. Her rose-colored dress spread out around her form, making her look like the stem of a flower. Her dark eyes laid on his sky-colored eyes.        “I apologize for leaving so quickly. Mary was in a rush, though she did not offer up any reason as to why we left so quickly. Today, however, she gave me a break.”

            That was Elain noticed Mary leaving, marking her own departure to be with the queen. She gently curtsied to Sebastian before moving away. “ Thank You for the dance. I must go. Mary will need me soon.” She gave a gentle smile before disappearing into the crowds of the French.           The next day came and with that, Mary wished to be alone, so Elain sat in the garden, book in her hands.

         Elain felt relaxed as she was finally out of view of the dog of a man that seemed to be lurking around the castle in hopes of catching his prey of a lamb. Her dark eyes laid on the blue. She laughed lightly. “Then lets hope you’ll always be there to catch me.” She felt a body bump into her and her eyes narrowed, finding the source of some drunken lordling. “You French drink too much.”

            “ As I should, seeing as you seem to be a fairly decent companion here in this court.” She actually smiled as she was allowed to twirl with Sebastian. She would never call him Bash, even if that was what the others called him. His name was Sebastian, so she would call him so. “ Sebastian, if you do not give me a simply process of payments, then I will only pay you in dances.” Her hand gently clasped his as she almost tripped over her skirt, causing a small laugh to exit her at her own clumsy step. “Perhaps if you find that love, you’ll inform me of how it feels?”

        Elain curtsied at the faux-kiss to her wrist before moving to the floor with him. She began the movements to and fro. Her dark hair swayed with her movements. “ Ample Opportunity, yes. However, no matter the opportunity or even if I have already met them, it does not account if I will let my heart guide me into their arms.” She was giving him a gentle smile, noting the man who seemed to stop in his tracks as he watched the King’s Bastard and the Lady Umber move together.
