The sounds of battle reached her ears and she turned her gaze from Minato to the field of battle. The first ninja emerged into view and she scrambled for her katana.

She honestly had no desire to get lost in a foreign land. “Only a few years after the damn war and people are already back to starting trouble.” She sighed.
The damp air and dark feeling of the forest made her uncomfortable. She was not in her element here. “If we’re to work together, I would like to know your name.” Kaede said finally. “I’m Takenaka Kaede.”
