Goodbye,
I've been procrastinating to write this post for 2 weeks now, because I really don't know how to start...
I'm leaving this blog. To be honest this thought has been haunting me for more than a year now, but I couldn't pull myself to actually do it. I just couldn't. It might sound silly, stupid, whatever you want, but this blog means a lot to me, in a way even more than my personal blog. Since the beginning 3 years ago, the purpose of this was to just have a place to put all my Harry Potter graphics together. But it became much much much more, at one point this was basically my way to contribute to the Harry Potter fandom, with my graphics. I wasn't here all the time, I haven't post daily since the beginning, but it was still very important for me. But let's face it, the blog has been nearly dead lately. I hate myself for that, for not taking care of this as I wanted to, for not finding time, or inspiration, or energy to keep with this.
It hasn't been easy, taking this decision, in a way I feel l'm betraying the Harry Potter part of my heart but... I don't have time to care properly, like I think it deserves, about this, I don't have a lot of time to make graphics, to make enough of them to actually run a whole blog about them. I've been thinking about this a lot, and I wanted to leave this before it was really really really dead, and I wanted to tell you, not just leave without an explanation, a goodbye, people keep following me and keep reblogging my stuff so... well, I'll maybe regret this (I will, I know, but I think this is the right decision now) but I believe everything ends, in a way, things come and go, and this is my time to leave this.
There's no way I'm deleting this blog because, to my surprise, people keep reblogging my graphics, and I don't want to take this away from this community, but I will simply stop posting and visiting. This doesn't mean I'll stop making Harry Potter graphics though, no way, but from now on, the few I'll be able to make, will be posted in my personal blog, pdfoots, you're free to follow me there if you don't, but I honestly don't expect you to.
All in all, thank you for sticking with me all this time. I'm really grateful for the more than 7,000 followers this little blog has, you're all amazing, seriously. I love you. And thank you. Thank you a lot.
