Despite some obvious issues with the art assets (why the random use of the Amano art?) the main gameplay of this title still holds up nearly 30 years later, and is an entry in the Final Fantasy series that I believe deserves more attention and love. Breath of the Wild is an absolute masterpiece of a game, it’s my highest rated game so far, and if you own a Switch and haven’t played it yet, do yourself a favor and check it out! Been a while (finally stopped playing Guild Wars 2 for long enough to write something) but my review is up for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and both it’s DLC! This game has become an iconic piece of the RPG canon, and it’s sheer size and scope are still impressive today! Despite some repetition and lack of variety, this game still holds up as one of the greatest RPGs of its time, with influences that we can still see in the genre 7 years later.
