Like. I’m a firm believer that porn online shouldn’t be within kids reach (those “are you 18” checkboxes for life) but. Like. Ok first of all, just ban cp? It’s not hard? Cp is what got you into this mess just ban it. Second of all, you could increase the age of sign-up from 13 to 18. Third of all, you could do what deviantart does and just. Require birthdays at sign-up. If your blog is flagged as nsfw, you can’t interact with minors. You want to follow an nsfw blog? Prove you’re an adult. You’re an adult but don’t want to see nsfw content? Safe search (that actually works).

It’s not hard to make a functioning website, but staff doesn’t seem to want to do that.

how do you feel about fansites? especially at concerts?

Its about 50/50 tbh. I’ve personally had good and bad experiences with them. Overall I think theyre okay from an external standpoint, people love to give them shit because they’re effectively doing something illegal but if youre going to nitpick @ that then you also have to acknowledge all the people in the fandom who rip like music/dvds/other copyright media (i.e. vlive+/chn+) are also technically doing something illegal. People then try to explain that’s done /for the fandom/ which is also I guess what fansites are doing.

Fansites are a super big thing in kpop/korean media and tbh it’s literally free publicity for a group. Groups like EXID would have never taken off without fansites (unfortunately 😡). Ever wonder why fansites don’t shut down after posting concert pics? Because they’re literally broadcasting they were taking pics at the concert. Companies don’t really care, if they catch you in the moment they’ll do something but otherwise they don’t really give a shit. Fansites also give us fansign content that 99% of any fandom probably won’t get the experience.

As for personal experience, the couple negative times were fansites trying to like push and shove infront of me/others and like zooming through people to avoid security. Void the dodging security part tho, its not like other people don’t push and shove tho. Haven’t had a fansite try to use me as a tripod yet but that might be because I’m actually too tall for them to try to use shoulder/head lmao. That being said I’ve met some nice fansites too and they were lovely and gave me freebies etc and my friend helped some during kcon last year.
