Actually, a new study from Richardson University at Michigan revealed that all humans make some sort of sound when they are alone, uncomfortable, or experiencing an overload of amigdalinoids.

These "little creature noises" were present in each of the over 500 participants, through multiple trials. You can read more about the different kinds of antelinguistic expressions (M. Asteley et al., 2008) here.
