Rewatched this whole series and man they are my favorite part of it.

Finished my Life with the Walter Boys (both the book and the series)…. And just meh. The book does a better job of fleshing out why Alex was the person she dated. The TV show gives several of Cole’s moments to Alex (including the I Love You during the wedding).

I liked that the book resolved Alex/Jackie in a non-toxic icky love triangle way.

The book’s motivation for Jackie going back to New York was so much cleaner/full circle, and not about running away.

The book did such a better job of explaining why even wanting Cole scared the hell out of Jackie, and that I was there for (being on the angst!)

I liked that we got to know Will and Hayley in the show.

I like that we saw more of Cole’s relationships with everyone in the show.

I like that Jackie got to experience her extracurriculars in the show.

Honestly, I didn’t love either the book or the show. They were just meh. But the book wins for not pushing the in brother love triangle trope to gross levels.
