She couldn't help but giggle at his comment about redecorating his home. She did like doing that but now was not the time for jokes. Her expression changed from surprise to a quiet fondness when he had said he saw something in her that was better than the rest. Given she was young when she signed on with him, perhaps he saw a potential in her that she still hadn't seen. Could she really be more than just his little mouse? Eden cracked a small smile. "I was only an adolescent when we first pacted. But if you saw something worthy of giving your power to I can try measure up to whatever it was." Still not the most ambitious, but it was a start. That had to count for something.

"Hence why you still remain in my service to this day, little mouse. Others who reside in the House of Hope aren't in such a favorable position."

With a smugness to his smile, he reached out with a hand to gently tilt her chin up just a fraction - almost as if he were critiquing her.

"One does wonder what the intentions were for requesting the pact in the first place, especially at such a tender age. Simply to improve yourself, learning from a superior being? Or was it more for the companionship~?"

The warlock closed her eyes as he tilted her chin. Her breathing slowed, body relaxing more. "I was a slave. I wanted my freedom, a place to call home and belong. I got that and so much more." She replied earnestly. It really was that simple. But now the pact meant more than freedom.

"If you ask what I think it means now. It is connection and purpose. Its something bigger than myself that I can work towards. I enjoy learning under you, I enjoy this."

Eden's eyes reopened, a soft smile on her lips. She never regretted her pact. Her soul was his, oh well. He gave her everything she wanted and now she was content with the consequences of her youthful actions.

🐭 three facts.

I) I actually have a degree in animation and I am certified by Toonboom which is the industry standard 2D animation program. I also have my bartender certification.

II) I am a DM and have only been playing D&D for 5 years. The campaign I am running right now will be the first one I have ever seen to completion.

III) I love to bake and cook. If I am not writing, drawing, at work or playing games you can find me in the kitchen making something. My favorite recipe right now are these amazing orange rosemary cookies with brandy. I found it in a BG3 recipe book on Etsy they are called Astarion Approves.

🐭 experience.

I have been off and on rping for 13 almost 14 years now. I started on Facebook unfortunately. I started in the Legend of Zelda and Inuyasha fandoms. My first muse ever was Naraku. I have been on tumblr for a couple years on this blog and my first foray into rping on tumblr was in 2019 as a Gerudo sorceress OC named Nea.

🐭 Muse preferences.

Female or male: It doesn't really matter to me. I have both.

Fluff, angst, or smut: I am a sucker for angst and love me some good smut or fluff. But yeah angst is my fave

Plots or memes: Memes, sometimes I get too anxious for plots but am open to it.

Long or short replies: Depends on my mood, I try to match my writing partner so it really varies.

Best time to write: On my days off. I try to dedicate 1 day for each muse so one for Eden and one for Strahd.

Are you like your muse: In a way yes. Both Eden and I share a love for the darker things in life and music. She is more extroverted than me however.
