hello there ladies, gentlemen, and everyone who does not apply to those bounds, i present to you: Band AU; A Scarian Based Graphic Novel!
(this is just information abt it, not the actual thing btw)
I've had an idea for a while now about a scarian band au. i wanted to make it kind of a rivals/enemies to lover thing, but i didnt have a fullproof plot set down. still dont btw. but anyways. i couldnt think of how i wanted to progress this, i had a general idea, but i couldnt figure out how i wanted to make it an actual STORY. then i got thinking; "hmmm, this would actually work really well in a graphic novel format" SO WE'RE MAKING IT A GRAPHIC NOVEL BITCHESSSS
a bit about band au:
band au is going to follow mainly grian and scar povs, focusing on their relationship. though, i will also include some other povs every now and then.
the two main groups in band au will be the clockers and the bad boys. two rival bands that are fighting for fame and competing to get to the big stage.
the clockers will consist of scar, cleo, and bdubs. a group of siblings. etho is an ex member of the band, having joined TIES because they didn't want to be TIS. etho is still around a LOT because him and bdubs are happily married (they got married in 2003, when same-sex marriage was legalized in ontario. YAY!). i think that gem might be their manager or something or maybe an assistant lyricist, but she won't be a huge part of the clockers since her and grian are siblings. i could always make her a spy or smg but who knows.
the bad boys will be grian, jimmy, and joel. a group of friends who've known each other for what feels like forever. grian and jimmy have known each other the longest, meeting in year 6. Jimmy met joel at uni, and the duo soon became a trio.
the nosy neighbors will be a music news blog, run by pearl and bigb and focusing on the music news in their city. they prioritize finding the juiciest drama, specifically from smaller groups, since no one is covering them. lizzie interns at the nozy neighbors, sometimes pitching in on stories but mainly just working around the office.
TIES will be made up of Tango, Impulse, Etho, and Skizz. Etho was a later addition (it took a lot of convincing for them to get Etho to leave Bdubs in the clockers, but Bdubs assured him that this would be good for him. his anti-social ass needed more socialization and friends. {bdubs' words, not mine}). TIES is a group that one would definitely consider to be "underground." they aren't as popular as the bad boys or the clockers, but they ARE steadily climbing the ranks. adding etho to their group has definitely helped, especially considering his contribution to the clockers.
the mean gills consist of scott and martyn. originally, i intended for them to be a small folk music duo (creds to @sporeofmanynames for the idea on that one), but my brain decided right now (literally i just thought of this as writing this) that they will be the ones in charge of deciding who climbs the ranks (i haven't quite decided if they'll be a record label or in charge of music awards or both. listen i havent thought this far ahead gimme a break).
as for the life series members that aren't in limited life, i promise they appear. mumbo is gonna be grian's childhood bestfriend (spoiler, he's aroace and that will be explored in the story. aroace mumbo my beloved <333), lizzie is joel's wife and helps out with the nosy neighbors, ren is martyn's boyfriend and will be around with the mean gills and helping out there. gem is grian's sister and her and pearl are dating. i also might throw her in somewhere with the clockers since she filled in for cleo one session. though im not sure. i will also include some hermits and other minecraft youtubers!! those are tbd though.

Summary:
In a world where a corrupt Queen rules the lands of Bloodkeep, Grian has to hide away from the rest of the world. Having wings has its perks, but it also has its poisons. No matter where he goes, Grian must remember that he is not safe. With a bounty going for anyone who can bring the queen of hearts and body parts something she deems worthwhile for her collection, Grian knows that his wings will cause the mouth of any money-hungry dog to water. That doesn't stop him from flying, though.
One day, with winter nearing rapidly, Grian winds himself scavenging for food and supplies to get him through the unforgiving season. When the trip goes wrong and an archer looking for a catch mistakes him for a normal bird, Scar and Grian meet each other through rather unfortunate circumstances.
Can the duo resolve their misunderstandings and stick together? Or will Scar turn away when Grian needs him most.
