Worst Of Me, Best Of You

New Grey’s fic up at AO3 here.

Turns out that being sent home wasn’t the worst thing, because I’ve been writing so many fics, I’m kind of amazing myself.

This time, it’s rewriting how Amelia found out she was pregnant, and her immediately calling Addison because I feel like that’s what she would have done, considering everything that happened on private practice. Speaking of which, spoiler alert for private practice (even though they told the story on Grey’s) since I add in a bit about Addison’s personal life and I might be bringing Charlotte in.

Am I in the minority when I feel like I really don't like the Station 19 cross overs? Its feels weird and like I went to the bathroom and or get a snack and just lost part of the episode, I really don't like it...

If you guys are willing to share I would love to hear some different thoughts!

They kind of annoy me. Like yeah, it’s nice that those episodes generally don’t build on too much character building from station 19 so you can follow it without watching all of station 19, but also it can feel like I’m just watching it to get through to grey’s.

Chapter three! I always thought that I couldn’t write for Arizona or Callie, but turns out I can. The entire fic is around 2000 words total and this chapter is almost 1000 words, so.

Also, I love Sofia with my entire heart, she has experienced so much loss in her life already and she’s like seven.

So this is my Alex Karev fix-it fic. I kept the only good part of that episode (how it was structured) and redid basically the entire plot because both Alex and Jo deserved better.

If you were one of those people who liked the ending he got, then this is not the fic for you, but if you hated the ending and the entire episode pissed you off, then this is perfect for you!

Find it on AO3 here. Next chapter will be Meredith centered, then we’ll see how much detail I feel like going into for everyone else. And I’m too mad at Izzy to write her in, so she’s dead as far as I’m concerned.

Added chapter two and Meredith’s reaction, which was so much harder to write than I thought it would be.

The next chapter is pulling in Arizona (and maybe Callie, but I feel like I’m not good at writing for her character, but we’ll see.) Andy Grammer is really fueling this entire fic so far, so highly recommend listening to any of his songs, but especially Naive and Wish You Pain while reading.

“She’s going to think I’m crazy,” Killian says to himself as he climbs up the stairs to Emma’s New York apartment. “This is crazy.” Before he can chicken out, however, he’s at Emma’s door and he’s knocking.

Sure enough, when Emma opens the door, she gives him the same look she did when she first met him: an I can’t believe you’re real look. Knowing that there’s only one way this is going to end no matter what he does, Killian kisses her and braces for a punch. Instead, she walks out and interrogates him. After he answers all of her questions, he asks her the most important question of them all; if she’ll come back to Storybrooke. There’s no way he can make her do anything and he doesn’t expect her to leave the life she has here with Henry for a place she’s pretty sure is made up and to save people she doesn’t believe exist. The only thing left to try is the potion, and thankfully it works and she decides to leave New York for this fairytale town and her fairytale family. It’s still surprising, Emma Swan is a hard person to sway once she’s made up her mind.

She climbs over her dad and settles in between her parents for a second. “Come on!” Knowing that she’s not going to go back to sleep, Emma and Killian roll out of the bed that they seemingly just got back into after wrapping all of the gifts from “Santa”.
