Fun on discord
we made a monopoly board out of all the campaign memes. These are their stories.
This is a panel re-draw back from when I ran an Inuyasha shitposting blog. I will never not insult Naraku.
so i know everyone's wondering about the Inuyasha sequel
and yeah if naraku could come back as the villain that would be interesting and all...
BUT
what if the shikon jewel spit his sorry ass out and said “fck you you actually have to live you sad ass train wreck, i ain’t granting u the mercy of death”
and he clung to life and survived to the modern era (a miracle)
eventually becoming the chief of Yokai Affairs in the police dept.
he’s perpetually overworked, and only wants 2 die... but he does his job because not working means that he’d have to reflect on his life and fck that
every once and a while he’s visited by a vision of Kikyo (vague if it’s his own imagination or not) who shit-talks him and tells him to fcking do his penance and not be a fcking Nancy about it
and then he gets roped into that fcking era again cause of some shitty time travelling teens (fcking not again lol) but he’s so fcking tired of it all, but at the same time hes connected to Inuyasha et al. so its borderline related to his reason to live and he can’t just ignore what’s going on...
and then he realizes that his own cycle of self-pity and despair needs to be broken and that even a bastard like him can enact good in the world and that he doesn’t need his past to define his life. He only needs the limitless potential and hope of the future.
but most of all I need ghost Kikyo to call him a f c k b o y at least once to his face. i need this to live.

He’s only appeared in like 1 storyboard panel in a dinky preview, but my spirit craves another Mael villain arc.
While manga Estarossa had questionable fashion sense, I think anime Estarossa is ultimately the more embarrassing of the two.
(They sure did make a lot of strange changes to the pacing/scenes in the 3rd season. Not going to even touch on the animation.)
