He's more self aware than people realize, just because he didn't necessarily remember his self reflection all the time didn't mean he wasn't capable of it.

"I don't know what Alivebur did and I'm really trying to remember, but I know what I did and just wrote books."

Poor guy was constantly treated as like... Wilbur but missing pieces. Which I guess technically he was in the beginning, but not after he gave himself a different name and a home and some blue.

Ghostbur just makes me sad. Sad for how much he was reduced to substitute Wilbur and how much that hurt him all the time, that they'd rather have the villain back than the friendly ghost.

Maybe it's just because it's late at night, but I'll leave this thought here:

I (me, not Ghostbur) don't have a lot of great accomplishments in life. I am an ordinary person.

But in the very possible chance that I lose part of my long-term and working memory, lose part of myself forever, I hope people still care about me in a way that matters. I hope they don't treat me like I'm no longer capable of depth and thoughts worth listening to. I hope they take into account that I am more than the sum of my parts, and my life is not defined by the length or by accomplishment.

I hope that instead, people continue to judge me by the quality of my character that remains, and treat me with respect and love. I'd want to treated like a person.

So fuck you, Wilbur Soot, for making me cry about a ghost, and sending him to Limbo.

Masculinity is not exclusive to cis-men.

You can be a trans-man and be masculine.

You can be a cis-woman and be masculine.

You can be a trans-woman and be masculine.

You can identify any way possible and still be masculine.

Masculinity should never be restricted by biology, and it's ridiculous that people think that way. Anyone can enjoy being called handsome and masculine if that is what they want, and there is no shame in that ever.

i KNOW tumblr is on the downhill and isnt financially viable. everyone does, we lost Verizon a billion dollars. this is not a profitable place.

but its got the best structure of any existing platform. no public follower count, easy repost feature, SEVERAL post formats, html editing, easily have multiple pages, customizable blog homes, and it continues to update. idk bout yall but i use the Quick Reblog and Quick Queue features on mobile CONSTANTLY

not to mention the fun little things it does on occasion! april fools games, “pride? in my tumblr?” banners, Answer Time, even a a freaking alternate reality game for Guy Fieri’s birthday just cause some of the staff wanted to!

i know it costs money to do this, and im not surprised that it needs some supplemental income to continue. But this PostPlus idea seems, to me at least, like a TERRIBLE way of going about it.

@staff @support is there any other way that we as users can support yall for a change? even like direct donation, in the style of wikipedia? i cant be alone in the feeling of “if this website needs some money to run, i’d be willing to give”

I'd 100% support a Wikipedia model. Chuck tumblr a few bucks every so often. Works for me.
