hope nothing bad with such a start. oh, thank you, means a lot. i do work hard and quite a lot as well. yes — quite proud of that one, making so many childhood dreams with it and can't wait for it to be out. well, hi, charlie ! i can see, i got time on my hands for a moment to catch up on things myself and meet people again, which i'm pretty grateful for.

Can anyone really say anything bad about you? I mean I'm sure there are people out there but they're wrong because you are an absolute gem and I'm such a fan. You really do and it makes me happy because I remember struggling at your age to find work so its refreshing to see that you have plenty of it. I remember loving that show and told myself I would play him one day but clearly that didn't happen. Still proud ot be King Arthur though. What's next for you? I saw something about a sheep movie with Hugh that's coming out soon? What was that like to film?

jenna: i know you've done a lot of really amazing work since and before, but i bet that role is what people want to talk about the most right? i think we all have one of those usually that people are going to want to first talk about. jenna: oh, that is tough. this is going to be really random, but it's dakota fanning. i remember seeing her in a movie called man on fire, and i was just like damn yeah i want to do that.

Charlie: Before I played Ed Gein, it was my most talked about show and character, which I didn't mind because I love talking about that show and character and I always will but it was nice to talk about another piece of work I did that got the recognition I felt it deserved. I do get occasional questions about my other works but they are few and far between Charlie: Oh I love Dakota! She was so darling in that movie and I've watched a lot of her work and I can see why you idolize her and now her younger sister is becoming just as good so its nice that younger kids will get to have the same experience that you did.

I think I would love Only Murders in the Building, but I have a huge crush on Selena Gomez, so of course I would. As for White Lotus, I feel like it's overhyped, but if someone can convince me otherwise, then I'll listen. However, Walton Goggins is an icon, so that would be an incentive to watching the show.

Oh well there you go! I mostly watched because Steve Martin and Martin Short are comedic gold and I've always wanted to meet them both and just pick their brains for as long as they would let me and I have to admit to not being that familiar with Selena's acting work other than her Disney days but I know she's a phemononal singer and I am a fan of hers, which is why I am continuing to watch. To be honest, Walton is pretty much the only reason I watch. He was so good on Sons and he's a great friend so I have to show my support, you know?

Wait, you casually found a lightsaber supposedly held by Mark Hamill himself in an antique store?! Mate, that’s insane. I won’t even ask the price because I already know I’d have done the same. Just… don’t tell my girlfriend I said that. I’d lose all financial credibility instantly if she knew how fast I’d drain my savings for Star Wars relics.

I did! I was completely baffled and tried to offer the guy more money for it but he told me he could tell by my excitment how much it meant to me and he knew it would be taken care of and that's all he really cared about so while it might seem like a lot of money for most people, to me, there was no limit. As long as you don't tell mine that I spent some of our vacation money, even if she does make wayyy more than me. I will quickly make it back in my next project but yeah, she doesn't need to know.

ah, i'm sorry it made you cry like that, but i'm glad you watched it and loved it. that film means a lot to josh and me, took us long enough to finally get it made. did you, yeah? i appreciate the support, truly, means a lot coming from you. not even sure what to say, to be honest, you have a serious run of great films behind you yourself. i think papillon might be one of my favourites, top ten at the very least. what was that one like for you to film? looked like a tough enough shoot altogether.

Don't apologize mate, I consider any film that makes me cry a good one and yours was just the latest in a long list that moved me so much I shed some tears. Yeah? Why was that? You don't have to say anything, I don't handle compliments well because I never know what to say after 'thank you' haha. You know how reporters get, they never stop talking and it gets awkward. Or maybe that's just me. Ah yes, Papillion was definitely special and a unique challenge, especially during the solitary scenes where it was just me at times but I think we told his story beautifully and in the end, it was worth all the sweat, blood, and long hours.

Just saw today the name of the album! I think it's fitting because she definitely is a petal. I haven't spoken to her in a while, but she has always been so kind to me. Oh yeah? I didn't even think about that. I have to warn you though-- when I have Do Not Disturb on I'm at the golf course and I won't text back until I'm back home.

I am so proud of her and I've heard a few snippets of all the songs and this is probably my favorite of hers so far. She told me I was her muse but really, she didn't me to write an amazing album. Still, it will be nice to read my name in the dedication page. If you'll allow me to gush, she is absolutely amazing and so sweet and I honestly have no idea what she sees in me but she's the best thing that has ever happened to me

Since its been a while - do you still need to chat or have you worked it out?

Charlie: Oh that's a very good question. I don't tend to make plans because one) being an actor is very double-edged and you never know when you'll be called to set to start filming and two) I like being spontaneous Charlie: But my girl is about to release a new album and then start touring so when I'm not working, I will probably follow her state to state to watch her perform. Charlie: I can give you ideas for plans though if you want!

Did you just say that I'm smol? I know that I'm short but smol... damn. If you treat Ariana right then you have no reason to be nervous. I don't think it sounds like a halmark movie, or maybe it does cause I don't watch those. It sounds like a man who is in love. It's cute.

Smol and short mean the same thing to me - does it mean something different? I can't keep up with all this lingo. I can assure you that Ana will be treated with the utmost respect and love and I will spend my entire relationship making sure that she always feels like a queen, a goddess, and wanted in every sense of the word. She's my forever.

I want to have an album out soon, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I do have two films that I'm going to be in, but we haven't started filming yet. I've been working on my newsletter and spending time with my family before I start to become busy again.

Who do we need to talk too to make it happen? I am not above begging the powers that be - Starving was my go-to jam back in the day but Apple Music was like 'dude, chill' so now I need a new anthem to sing along too during traffic jams. I am the same way, just waiting on the call to return. And hold up, newsletter? What? Tell me more, I'm intrigued!

Okay, now that The Pitt Thursdays are over, I need a new show to watch before filming picks back up. Anyone have any suggestions? I will watch just about anything, so feel free to hype up your favorite show of all time to me. @hfrpstarters

I don't have anything new to add because I'm still trying to catch up on shows that have long been over or on the air since I was younger, like Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural. I suppose for a newish show would be Only Murders in the Building and The White Lotus. I can't hype it up more than it already has been so I'll just say go watch them all if you haven't already.

Charlie: I will always credit Sons of Anarchy for being my breakout role and probably my favorite. Playing Jax Teller for all those years meant more to me than any film role ever could. It wasn't my first role but it was the one that made me famous, so to speak, so yeah, I would definitely say that one. Charlie: I will counter your question with one of my own -what is the character/film that you watched that made you want to be an actress?

So I caved and bought myself an apparently authentic lightsaber I found at an antique store - I won't go into details about how much I paid but according to the certificate of authenticity, it was used in the film Return of the Jedi and was actually held and used by Mark Hamill himself. It is currently hanging on the wall in my home as my most prized possession. I also have no idea how or why it ended up in an antique store but I am definitely not complaining. @aarcnpierre

I have never been much of a crier but The History of Sound had me bawling like a baby. It was so beautifully acted and the story between Lionel and David was so bittersweet but I loved the film so much. I've seen a lot of your works, Hamnet was also a favorite, but The History of Sound was much more heartwrenching. @famepaulm

I was wondering when this talk was going to happen and who was going to be the first one and I have to admit, I'm a little nervous that its you. You're so smol but so scary.

I can reassure you until I'm blue in the face that I will never hurt her but that is just one of those things that has to be shown, especially when friends and family are concerned. I will spend the rest of my life doing just that - and at the risk of sounding like a Hallmark movie - she made me believe in soulmates.

Ari is already working on a new album?! Oh my goodness, I am so ready for what she is going to give us next. Next time I'm in NYC I will definitely take you up on that offer. I need more friends, honestly.

She is! She posted all these amazing photos on her instagram of herself in the studio and I recently found out I was the inspiration for a few of her songs, which is a huge honor but also a bit nervewracking for that reason! We don't have to wait until New York mate, we can always exchange numbers because I could also use more friends as well.
