The curse of the Red Threads appeared at the same time as the pleasure center in the human head. Everyone knows when there are "Red Thread children" or "Red Thread animals," or even "Red Thread corpses," and the owners of these Threads are always portrayed as pests who take what they want without permission. But what if Robert doesn't want to hurt anyone, but still hides the red color under his sleeves? Does that make him dangerous? When it seemed that there was no hope, Robert's classmate Elena appeared in his life. She promised to teach him how to deal with his curse at the White Worms Club, which meets every week at the local church. There, the young man would meet other Cursed Ones, help them, and, most importantly, receive help himself.

She was often spanked on the forearms for disobedience, and her elbows were often bruised from careless play. In such cases, people would say, "Well, there's nothing to do but cut it off." As she grew older, she finally realized the purpose of these trials: her arms were out of place. In fact, they shouldn't even exist. From the moment she realized, she was determined to get rid of her unnecessary limbs by any means necessary.
