Actually finished binding this like a month ago but only just now got around to taking a nice photo (which was promptly crunched into oblivion by tumblr, oh well). Machine pieced, hand-quilted, machine-bound. Letters are from All Well Workshop's Patchwork Alphabet though, if I may take a moment to brag, I designed the apostrophe myself

The otter quilt is finally done!!! I went super minimal with the quilting because I just wanted to be done with it, but it’s done! I love how it turned out!

I finished the quilt I’m gifting to my daughter. She is having her first baby., I have not washed this yet. It still has chaulk lines. I am pleased how this turned out.

So at first I kinda felt like I phoned in the yellow Luminous fabric choices and it wasn’t nearly as good as it could have been. I revised my opinion after completing it because the sunflower quilting really made that thing shine.

Anyway, I did decided to give it a do-over, and make it dramatic this time!

Black in the center to yellow on the outside. I’m curious to how it’ll look with the shades inverse.

I like the dark in the centre as much as I like the light there. Mike&Ike approves as well 💖

Mike&Ike and Jelly Bean are the reason I had to set up some tables in the basement to layout my quilt tops LOL They just have to lay down on anything I put on the floor. But they’re cute, so they get away with it.

Of course, the plain black in the center is a little stark, but put a bit of gold quilting on it…

Had to put black cuddletex on the back which looks good with the yellow binding.

It’s definitely different from the other yellow Luminous, but I don’t know if I’d say better. I like them both 😭😂

Such a unique quilt!!! I love the placement of the colors with dark on the inside🤩❤️❤️❤️ and the gold embroidery in the middle is a wonderful finishing touch!

Oh holy shit did I never post the finished blanket from my saga earlier this year

Did finish it before the wedding!! My sister cried and I cried and her husband loved it and it was lots of love all around. It is actually queen sized, nearly 100"x100", done in worsted weight on size 8/5mms.

The final tally:

Just over 240 hours 💀

Also can't believe I didn't mention it but I also made a matching one for their cat. They put it on this chair which is specifically this guy's and has never been sat on by a human since they got it
