Thank you, Marilyn, for encouraging me to try Spelling Bee from the New York Times! I've now become as obsessed as she is. Plus I've always thought I wasn't very good at word games. (I struggled with spelling as a child, even though I've *always* been a voracious reader - until my brain injury in 2018.) After encephalitis I wondered if I would ever regain some of my mental strengths I seem to have lost. (Even though I did have a specialist tell me I was doing great...) Anyway!!! I'm Queen Bee for the second time this week, which means I have found all the words in a given day. I have to cheer and celebrate! The best $20 I've spent in a long time. It's both challenging and so much fun! I expect Marilyn to do well (she genuinely is a genius), but I am glad she pushed me to succeed. I feel this actually helps my neural pathways, which can potentially help my chronic pain!
