âOrganic Panicâ, was one of those pieces where I was in a focused, creative mood. It was one of those feelings where I had a massive creative rush and this is what came about. I didn't really go into it having a plan, it was one of those things where one decision led to another. First, I put a jar lid in the middle of the paper. Then, I splatter-painted the background using watercolor paints. I then sketched out a design that I felt was heavier and more complex in the middle and branched it out to the corners of the page where I put the mouths. Those two tentacles on either side of the centerpiece were an afterthought to fill space, but I think it adds balance to the piece. I thought of them as veins and nerves, just like the ones connecting the two outer eyeballs to the centerpiece. Materials: Plain sketching paper, watercolor paints, thin-tip permanent marker

I didnât know how much I needed this until I heard it.
The original song is how depression felt at first, this version is how it feels now
@l-heure-du-the this is so VIOLENTLY your fucking aesthetic
From â⌠nothing mattersâŚâ to âNOTHING MATTERS! :Dâ
âAbstract Faceâ, this piece was the result of a moment where I had a massive spark of creative energy rush over me. Itâs usually my instinct to doodle eyeballs and lips whenever I'm bored, so drawing these things is pretty much second nature to me. Iâve gotten so used to drawing them, they're very calming to draw. I then tried to do an abstract representation of the cheekbones, forehead, and T-zone using the orange oblong shapes. Then I added the swirls and dots in the background to add some black contrast to the light watercolor. . Materials: cardstock paper, watercolor paints, sharpie, thin-tip black marker

Doodle page from the past couple of days. It includes studies of cicada wings, a rattlesnake rattle, my artistic rendition of an Aye-Aye, a unique lizard tail that I created, barbed wire, various mushrooms, and various foliage. My favorite thing I drew on here is the rattlesnake rattle just because of its interesting shapes and how they mold together. I also honestly kinda love the Aye-Aye because it's kinda terrifying lmao.

âClouded Emotionsâ, This is a piece that I had actually lost in all my paperwork and I just got the chance to photograph it yesterday. I really liked this piece, but I also made it back when I ran out of watercolor paper. Iâm thinking I may remake this one on actual watercolor paper, as well as creating other color combinations of clouds and backgrounds. . Materials: Cardstock paper, 36 Color Watercolor Pan Set by Artist's Loft Necessities, Fine Tip Black Marker (I can't remember the brand I used), fine silver glitter

âLuna Moth: Pebble Background Practiceâ, Hereâs another design I created using the same luna moth I printed out from my âInsect Studies Pt.1â post. I honestly think I like this one more than the geometric design I posted yesterday. This pebble one also took more time than the geometric one because I wanted to put some dimension into the rocks and add some details like moss/algae onto them. I also think that the various earth tones compliment the green in the luna moth pretty nicely, so I'm pleased with how this turned out. . Materials: A printed image of my art, sketching pencils, watercolor paints

âLuna Moth - Geometric Background (Practice)â, Iâve been doing some experimental work with backgrounds and patterns recently, so I printed out the Luna Moth I drew in âInsect Studies Pt.1â on its own page to practice on. One of my priorities right now is expanding my ability to create more varieties of space-filling designs for backgrounds. I really love using this geometric technique, like I used in âElements of Natureâ. Although, I feel that it might be a little visually overwhelming with the tie-dye background as well as the linework on top. I just thought that the blue & purple tones would compliment the light green in the moth. So maybe if I use more pastel tones as opposed to these vibrant ones, Iâll like it a little more. Iâm still practicing on different kinds of backgrounds and what color palettes could go with the different bugs Iâve been studying. I have so many photos of bugs saved & I canât wait to practice drawing them more.

âInsect Studies: Rhino Beetle, Goliath Beetle, Oak Treehopperâ, I wanted to try my hand at more hard-shell bugs. I feel like theyâre more sleek and the different shapes that make them up really inspired me. I think drawing the goliath beetle was the most interesting. I really enjoyed trying to mimic the pattern on itâs back and the shapes that make up itâs legs. I also got a new google chrome extension that helped me get the HEX codes of my reference pictures, so I tried to replicate the bugsâ color palettes as best as I could. . Materials: Medium Weight 9âx12â sketch paper, sketching pencils, watercolor paints, Fabricolor Write Brush Pen, acrylic paint

âInsect Studies Pt.1: Luna Moth, Ghost Cicada, Paper Waspâ, Iâm literally so excited to start practicing insects. Pretty much the only bugs Iâve drawn in the past have been butterflies and cicadas, and thereâs so many crazy looking insects so Iâm really gonna try to practice drawing them and putting my own artistic touch on them. Drawing the wings is probably my favorite part of these bugs here, studying them then determining the general geometrics of them and the body in general is fun. I could have gone more specific with the anatomy labels, but honestly I didnât wanna focus too much on writing labels, spelling them correctly, etc. Iâm a little clumsy, so it's entirely possible I got something wrong lmao. Bugs might be one of my new favorite things to draw, so I canât wait to show you some other bug practice pages Iâve done/will do in the future. . Frozen in time, smiling yet they are decaying from the inside out, frozen in time and cannot control the rot from inside... . âCollage of Decayâ, Honestly Iâm not sure if I'm finished with this piece. I am content with how it looks at this moment, but I feel like I could add just a little something else. Iâm refraining right now to avoid making the piece too busy, but weâll see what the future holds. I canât remember the last time I made a physical collage with paper pieces & mod podge, so this was an interesting experience. . Average Creation Time: 12hr 25m . Materials: Approximately 11âx14â Canvas, magazine clippings, Mod Podge Matte Waterbase Sealer, Artistâs Loft Acrylic Paint Set (24pc.), Craftsmart Acrylic Paint Pen (White - 1.2mm)

I made this painting almost 5 years ago but honestly, Iâm still pretty proud of it. Itâs a painting of @therealjacksepticeyeâs channel icon, I called this âAntisepticeye Samâ when I posted this on Tumblr originally. Iâm at least proud of the background, Iâm not loving the iris though lol. I remember that this was the only canvas that I owned at the time, I also didnât even have a lot of acrylic paint back then so I had to use fabric paint that Iâd gotten for a different project to paint the eyeball and the black background details. So thankful I have actual acrylic paints today đ I also used a combo of acrylic and watercolor paint on the iris portion, and then finally coated the eye with a glow-in-the-dark coat. It didnât really glow in the dark though, only a little bit đ

Donât judge my hands please, this is practice because I avoid drawing hands whenever possible đ I also took this opportunity to try a new watercolor technique where you texture the page with salt. I used the same black pen technique I used in my last Nature Elements piece where I fill spaces with geometric shapes. Created with sketching pencils, watercolor paint, salt, acrylic paint over the hands, and a ballpoint pen. Creation Time: 8 hours

âElements of Natureâ, My latest nature-inspired piece. This was actually a recreation of a piece I made back in high school. Created using watercolor and acrylic paint, this piece contains four-leaf clovers, red and white spotted toadstools, yucky yellow teeth, eyeballs, cicadas, and various leaves and thorns. Plus a contrasting black pen outline filling the spaces. Safe to say I had a bit of a headache after finishing this one đ Average Creation Time: 20 hours

PLEASE DO NOT REPORT, IT'S JUST A PAINTING âBloom From Withinâ, this piece has been taking up a majority of my time for the past couple of weeks. I really tried to convey a feeling here, almost a feeling of freedom even though her wrists are tied up. Figuring out body proportions and skin textures were the most difficult part of this, but Iâm trying to practice full-body drawing more and more. I originally painted it with acrylics, but I didn't like how that turned out so I tried to smooth it out on my computer. Originally created with Acrylic Paint, watercolor paint, a charcoal pencil, and a sharpie. Refined in Krita Average Sketch/Paint Time: Approximately 1 week Average Digital Refining Time: 19 Hours

âEmerald Eyesâ: I like drawing eyes a little too much 𼰠IGTVs showing the process of creating this are UP NOW! Painted the skin and eyes with watercolor, outlined the irisâ with a felt marker, then added the wrinkles/details with a sharpie.
