i finished knitting my night sky sweater after a little over four months! i think i reinvented the wheel a couple of times when it comes to the intarsia parts and the gussets i added, but 💁🏽‍♀️

Long time no original post from me. This is my first finished project in a while. I have one almost done but I ran out of the yarn and the whole pandemic thing has made it tough to stock up on it.

Used the As Time Goes By square from Everytrickonthehook.com but made it a bit larger in Red Heart Ombré yarns (purple, aqua and grey). Love the way it came together with the black edging.

Terzetto came off the blocking mats today. The pattern is by Lisa Hannes. The yarn is Go To Sock by 29 Bridges Studio in the colorways Setter, Lichen, and Berry. It was a fun pattern to knit with enough changes in stitches and color to keep my interest.

Corona Creativity: Significant portions of this knitting was done sneakily while in conference calls. The rest was done on the couch with Netflix or YouTube on. Which side is your favourite?

As you can see I'm always jumping an new technique to learn. This is mosaic knitting. It's the first color work I've ever done...and the simplest. Still I see great potential in it.

Finally got the zipper sewn into Arni. Now I have a nice and toasty sweater just in time for spring. Oh, wait a minute....

I am really happy with how it came out. And good thing, too, because sewing a black zipper into a black sweater with black thread was a beast for me to do.

I finished this today. M o n t h s in the making but home exile made for a swift finish. It's so soft. Seamless sweaters are quicker and easier but seamed ones just hit that 👌 perfect fit

Getting so close to finishing this. All handspun yarn, even hand made stitch markers gifted to me from a friend. Pink yarn is merino blended with cashmere from my goat Danni. The grey is alpaca with Angelina sparkle that I bought at a local fiber fest last year.
