Man, some fandoms are awful to get into as an aroace person. My brothers got me into a new piece of media, and I foolishly thought "Let's see what the Tunblr fandom's like!" and was met with a fucking wall of smut and shipping. So fucking sick of how rude and entitled people can be on the internet sometimes. I made the mistake of looking through the comments on 100 Questions With Tom Simons, and it's just full of people shitting on the guests, demanding someone they like, kicking off because they don't know who the guest is, getting arsey when it's not another celebrity, being outright misogynistic to the female guests, demanding guests that are very publicly not in favour with Tommy (and for good fucking reason, the pieces of shit), etc. Fucking hell I hate people sometimes. Shit.

Thinking about how when Grace asked Stratt if she had a plan for the next 20 years, she just laughs sadly. She knew from the start what would happen to her after the project was complete. She knew. She always did.

I would like to introduce you all to Cinder Block:

Rocky introduced them to Grace as "Sound like Grace when Grace speak Eridian."

Grace actually met them when Grace fell arse over tit, face first into the sand, legs in the air like a cartoon character, and looked behind him to see a block of fucking concrete. Rocky assures Cinder Block that Grace is, in fact, usually this clumsy.

I've been wanting to draw them for ages now, and after laughing so much after seeing everyone else's creations that I coughed up a lung and was wheezing for the next 10 minutes, I decided to get them down on paper haha. Also, turns out I can't free-hand isometric for the life of me.

I've not gotten to the bit of the book where we meet Rocky yet (my little brother has commandeered my copy of the book, so I've gotta wait for him to finish it first before I can have it back lmao), so I don't know if this is a detail specifically mentioned, but something about the way almost every artist I've seen draw book Rocky has given him pie markings on his head is so endearing to me. Bake that rock this instant. /hj /lh

(This was a sort of rushed design and I haven’t done digital art in a long while but overall I like how it came out)

I’ve saw a couple of fucked up eridians (god forbid I forget the user tags so sorry) and got inspired to make my own so now we have Roach. The more legs the better

The shape and color are inspired by the Crowley Lake Columns which I thought looked weird/cool

Well now I'm just thinking about Grace's parallels to Atlas. The weight of the world on his shoulders and his alone, between the sea and the sky, never able to leave, but maybe making a home of it. Somewhere in suspention.
