So many life changes have happened, and I've completely neglected to tell this blog all about it!! I graduated college, Scott and I are now engaged, two sisters have joined the family in the form of sweet little rats, and we have moved!! Moving was stressful but the boys and girls have taken it all in stride, and everyone loves the new place. Not many pictures were posted of the old cage setup in our previous home, but it was impossible to clean. The cage was in a corner of the home but blocked by our sofa that had to be moved any time you wanted to clean. Unfortunately, this was literally the only way they could be in the living room without blocking an entryway or a vent. This photo is the new home setup. As you can see the cage is more open to the rest of the space and can be easily cleaned. The girls have a room all to themselves and are never in contact with Jasper and Felix, so everyone is happy. There have been some sad changes though. My niece's bird, and Jasper's girlfriend, Mozart passed away a few weeks ago due to egg complications. Things were rough and their other bird Francis stayed with us for a while since he was so lonely. They have since adopted another bird from a friend and we will meet him when we are back for Thanksgiving! There have been a lot of ups and downs but we are all happy and healthy!!
