right I’m trying to find words to describe how exciting this is for Jacaster and 2013′s panel show Brooker to be on a panel show in 2020 together like ???
Dev Patel in The Personal History of David Copperfield (2020)
Hey, shorty.
I need to stop thinking about things because the more I think, the more I discover but Leo’s last series is so similar to Thomas’s last series, not necessarily in terms of stories but some things stand out:
1. Already established this but they both die in the last episode, “Greater Love” and “The Greater Good.” They both die in heroic acts.
2. In “True Love Waits” Nikki grows close to the young girl who’s mother is murdered and her father is arrested much like in “Seven Times” but the mother in “True Love Waits” is murdered by a man who frames the husbands for murder because they have been abusive or appear to be, much like how the woman frames the abusers in “Seven Times” (minus the first woman who was killed by her husband).
3. Also in “True Love Waits” Jack and Nikki rescue the young girl kidnapped by her father, they also rescue the young boy who has been kidnapped in “Close To Home.”
4. They reuse the names ‘Collier/Collyer’ spelt differently but pronounced the same: Deana Collier in “Change” and Donna Collyer in “Seven Times.” Donna and Deana are also very similar.
5. Similar story with the Anthrax in “Trust” and the nerve agent in “The Greater Good,” in “Trust” Leo fears that he has got Anthrax in his system and the Lyell goes on lockdown, in “The Greater Good” Jack does get the nerve agent in his system but as we know, Thomas also does and as a result the Lyell goes on lockdown.
Those are the major things that come to mind but I will probably add more if I can think of anything else.
this is content i still come to this site for
