This is a lot of things I have to debunk😭First off, koreans don’t believe they’re actually dating and that he’s in a lavender marriage it’s just a joke because they’re close. Not every church that’s cult like is Mormon, most churches just operate like a cult. Mark was raised Protestant from what I heard from my friend and David follows a college church ran by an Evangelical. I can’t read what kind of sect that church he’s in and Mark calls himself a christian who doesn’t even bother to read the scripture by himself, he uses ai and probably just watches clips and at best listens to a pastor that gives him comfort. I don’t believe in destiny swapping as a real thing that works but I did ask if he did engage in it, which like no he does see them as equals in a weird sense and while also living vicariously through Mark like how parents do with their kids. Mark has always been more religious and probably got influenced by David since he’s also religious, I do think this was his tipping point:

Mark saw David as a man who has it all figured out and probably leaned onto him a lot, which David himself probably was his support telling him that Jesus accepts him whole or whatever bc God has all the answers. This falls into conservatism fast because it manages uncertainty and justifying why things are unfair or why a person suffers, rather than questioning why the way things are stressful and reflecting on how he got to where he’s at his breaking point. Is David necessarily manipulating him on purpose though? I think he truly believes in what he’s saying and thinks it’s the best way to help, but it is pretty much brainwashing that attractive to vulnerable people like Mark.

I’m not uncomfortable about talking about this conversation, I just hate when people want to talk about Mark being perceived as a good person rather than wanting him to grow. He shouldn’t have prioritized protecting his self-image and monitoring others people’s reactions, fans were hurt by how repping this shirt like it’s no big deal and not holding the accountability.

I’m not here to question of if he does or doesn’t know the flag’s meaning, I want to see what he learned and what accountability he took for to show that he completely rejects conservative ideology.

I already pulled for his career and nothing changed from it, it’s still less than what he had in nct and that’s already to be expected since he became a solo artist. He’ll gain trust from others again, that’s not to say he learned from his actions he’s probably gonna take a different direction so people can move on quickly. I just hope he unlearns his biases so he prevents hurting others in the future as it’s about ensuring safety and upholding beliefs that protects everyone for me.

I’m not one to label people who I don’t know and unfamiliar with bad people, but I will say that the rapper is known to be a misogynist and that he became friends with his manager because of their religion supposedly. I remember doing a reading a week ago when someone asked me about his love life and what I got was Not that. I had a talk about this with a friend and I think around the time when he was working on his album is where he had this crisis and eventually got more conservative because he felt really lost. I can say that the manager influenced this but he wasn’t the cause, it’s just that this is kind of how you get sucked into the alt-right pipeline. I think we’re at a point where we see Mark not really learning how this ideology is harmful to others right now, and that the people who he’s looking for guidance and support in his career are actively isolating him.

This isn’t to excuse Mark’s choice to wear that shirt, I just want to point out how this didn’t come out of nowhere. Most conservatives are not thinking about the preservation of owning slaves when they see the flag, they see it as a cultural symbol and a part of southern heritage (a common phrase is heritage not hate) and that it would go against freedom of speech if there is a ban against it. The south justified owning slaves because they heavily relied on exploiting the labor to keep the economy going, they saw black people as property and that if they lose slaves then the economy will be destroyed. Republicans believe in state rights and the federal government should not interfere, the flag is painted as rebellion, to protect and preserve the culture. This is set by design with systematic racism in America by cutting education programs, suppression, whitewashing history, and the lack of pushback from an opposition party. Again this isn’t to excuse the behavior, I just hope people are more aware of how racism is created through the system and not think this is just from an individuals moral failing.

Y’all… this man is AWARE! Fully fully aware!! When I say hes aware. I mean he knows about the dark history of slavery and racism in America. He knows about the atrocities committed against Black slaves by White people under their belief of the confederate flag.

He knows Black/African American history down to the T. He knows it all, the segregation, political movements/leaders. He might be talking to someone or something else. His love life to me looks active & open, it's giving exploration and different possibilities but it's also uncertain meaning he hasn't made a clear decision or established anything not even a direction.

There's conversations, opportunities & even new people entering his life and his orbit, there's more attention being paid, it's just overall a faster pace in life for him. I do get a romantic situation even if not limited to one person.

He's having a sorta transition from the place he was before this, it just feels like a new something.
